It was during an Orange Cassidy match and you could tell that none of the commentators gave a shit because they were just going out to FITE. Tony Shiavone compared himself to Orange Cassidy and JR said "Tony has his hands in his pockets, but the bottoms were cut-out long ago."

These video packages for matches have been both very good and way more effective at eating up time than what WWE has been generally doing for their empty arena shows.

NXT sort of had the idea when they aired that mini-documentaries episode but missed the boat by not mixing in some new in-ring action.

Dynamite was pretty enjoyable overall. Not one of their stronger episodes in terms of ring action but the video packages and promos were one of their best.

Felt more like a filler to get to next week's show though but Jericho as guest commentator was way better than Omega and Cody.

Dynamite's been a godsend to my wrestling fandom the past 6 months. Not every episode has been great but even the ones that aren't great are still relatively easy watches in my book. I don't get mad at myself for investing the time like I did for countless Raws. The product's not for everyone and people are entitled to their opinion, but it definitely works for me.

Hopefully they mix in some stuff outside of the Marshall training center. Seems likely that's what they're doing with the Mox/Hager match next week. Plus the Bucks filmed matches in their own ring. Apparently MJF will film some matches at Curt Hawkins' wrestling school in Long Island once conditions in NY improve a bit.

Agreed. It is def not for everyone, and not everything is great, but it is all watchable.

Still wish Matt Hardy would go away though. I sincerely tried to get into his Broken//Damascus thing when he did it the first time. It was "different" but still too much for me.

I wishthere was a build to the Hardy stuff. Like, he comes in as normal Matt Hardy, and something happens that causes him to start losing it, and then he turns into Damascus after a few months. Last nights vignette wasn't bad other than the drone being sentient apparently.

Other than that, I love most of what aew is doing. It's not perfect, and they're shit I wish they'd ditch, but overall I enjoy it and I'm glad they're still pumping out content.

Some of it is fine. I like MJF. Jericho has his moments, although the scenery chewing gets a bit much for me. Jungle Boy, Sammy Guevara and Scorpio Sky have potential. But fine is about it. I know people have been starved for content over the past 20 years, but let's not pretend that Jericho vs. Moxley was anything too dissimilar to Jericho vs. Ambrose.
