Bucks vs. Revival for All Out in August, provided crowds are allowed back by then.

I hope to see them AEW, lots of teams they could mix it up with.

I pretty much knew it was all downhill for them as soon as they were called up to Raw. They are at their best where they're able to work long form tag matches to tell their stories, and that just wasn't going to be happening much on the main roster.

Vince is probably dejected about the XFL and just didn't have it in him to keep being a dick at the moment.

Should AEW wait til crowd are back to use them?

Maybe let them do some remote promos, but I probably wouldn't give them a match until crowds returned.

Good for them.

If they're in a good situation financially, I'd sit back until all this blows over before looking for deals.

Not sure how they will fit in AEW. I suppose they showed they can go high gear with teams like Lucha House Party in the WWE, but are there many teams in AEW that can sell and have a traditional tag team match? The best teams are still in WWE. Probably would have been a “smarter” move to negotiate a switch to NXT or use their “leverage” to get a guarantee space with Randy Orton on Raw again. Could have been useful in helping the Street Profits get over and working six-man tags with Edge and a babyface team. But they obviously want out, so good for them.

NXT barely has a tag division these days so why would they want to go there. Couldn't even fill out this year's Dusty Tag tournament without needing to rely heavily on NXT UK and makeshift teams.

Makeshift teams win the Dusty Classic more often than not. Balor/Joe, Black/Ricochet, Broserweights were makeshift until after the tournament.

While the tournaments have been entertaining in general, that's basically been the one big complaint I've had with the booking of these tournaments.

Like the first time it made sense since it was people banding together to honor Dusty's memory. After that it should have been more rare for makeshift teams to win but instead they've won it just as often as actual tag teams.

The Crockett Cup winners are 50/50 as well. Villain Enterprises and the Road Warriors on one end, Sting & Luger and Rhodes & Koloff on the other.

Because you’ve got The Undisputed Era and Matt Riddle/Pete Dunne. You don’t need eight billion jobber teams to have a good division. The SmackDown Six era basically consisted of three teams. The TLC era was three teams at the peak — there were some over undercard teams, but they were interchangeable. It’s a bit of a smark myth that you need a surplus of teams to do good shit. And there being fewer teams means there’s more room for them. Actually book around them.

NXT barely has any notable undercad teams that are over as well which just contributes to the division's problem.

Forgotten Sons managing to become the #2 heel team and at one point, the only other notable tag team besides UE was when it became clear that division had a serious problem.

Both main roster tag divisions have been way healthier than NXT's for a long while now despite also being poorly handled and booked for most of the time.

Yeah although I'm willing to cut them more slack due to the lengthy delay in between editions and at least they kicked off the modern revival with an established team winning.

They can still borrow UK teams too, since they've loosened up the divide there. Moustache Moutain is great. Grizzled Young Veterans are coming along nicely. Imperium is good as fuck. Webster and Andrews are decent. Lorcan and Burch, I guess. I dunno. Not to mention Indus Sher, who I fucking hate so far, but they might get good. It could be a lot worse.

Borrowing from NXT UK helps fix that problem but that really shouldn't have been an issue to begin with considering NXT having access to an extra stuffed PC to develop new notable teams from.

NXT UK had a similar problem for a while with the lack of interesting teams in the division but they managed to build up a healthy division in a short period of time while NXT mostly sat on their hands for months after Street Profits and Viking Raiders left.

That's why they could use them lol. You don't want to add more stack to an already stacked division anyway. But it's super-easy to throw some guys together and make tag teams. That just hasn't been their groove lately. Focus has been put on Riddle & Dunne.

Not a fan of most of the UK teams. They all feel like very generic dudes with moustaches to me. A bunch of moves. Would rather see them put new teams together if they needed them.

Revival have changed their names on Twitter to Cash Wheeler and the very pornorific Dax Harwood.

It's their actual last names.

Also seems they'll be using the #FTR name since they had trademarked it.
