WWE has announced two matches for tonight’s episode of 205 Live. The company announced on Friday that Tyler Breeze will take on Tony Nese while Danny Burch will face Tehuti Miles.

In either a sign the world might be ending or WWE simply remembered to care about 205 Live, 2nd week in a row a storyline for a 205 Live show got built up on NXT.

Two matches have been confirmed for this week's episode of 205 Live.

WWE has announced that Isaiah "Swerve" Scott vs. Tyler Breeze and Oney Lorcan & Danny Burch vs. Ever-Rise (Chase Parker & Matt Martel) will air on 205 Live tonight. This will be the second straight week that 205 Live has had new in-ring action. Prior to last week, WWE aired four weeks of "The Matches That Made Me" 205 Live episodes focusing on Brian Kendrick, Ariya Daivari, The Singh Brothers, and Lorcan.

The story for Scott vs. Breeze is that Scott is trying to get his confidence back after going 1-2 in the interim NXT Cruiserweight Championship tournament. Scott tweeted today: "If I had to root for anyone thats left in the #NXTCruiserweight tournament it would have to be @WWEMaverick. However, @TonyNese don't think you're not gonna be dealt with at some point soon for causing my elimination... Tonight on @WWE205Live, I need to regain my confidence..."

That might have been the most boring Firefly Fun House segment since Bray started doing them.

Only good part was Bray revealing more why he views Braun as nothing more than just the black sheep of the Wyatt Family.

Also this whole Sheamus & Michael Cole storyline has been very stupid.

Ever since TJP revealed how every WWE match almost always starts with a headlock as one of the first moves, its been one of those things that's been very glaring to notice.

This Mandy vs. Carmella match had a headlock as the first move done.

Outside of Otis beating Ziggy and Sonya's beatdown of Mandy, this week's show was very boring and not worth the time.

Seems not even 205 Live will reverse that trend since tonight's episode is Singh Bros themed. NXT Creative managed to take some of the least interesting guys to do spotlight specials on.

The Singh Brothers are set to be featured on tonight's "The Matches That Made Me" episode of 205 Live.

Sunil and Samir Singh will "take a deep dive into the match that inspired them to become WWE Superstars, as well as the most memorable match of their careers." This will be the third week in a row that 205 Live has used this format. The episode will include comments from The Singh Brothers introducing the matches.

Whatever gave might have been good or maybe not going by the Blue Brand's track record in recent weeks.

On the other hand, this feud between Sasha & Bayley and Tamina is still just as uninteresting as the prior feud Sasha & Bayley had with Lacey Evans. SD's women's division is still the worst out of all the women's divisions in WWE.

Post-match go-home brawl for MitB was lame. Way too much time was left in the show for that slow assed brawl.

SD itself was pretty good this week compared to recent weeks and a better MitB go-home show than RAW's show. Being drowsy for like half the show probably helped a lot. Still had the same problem as almost all of WWE's empty arena shows of not really being worth the time to watch if you missed out though.

Jordan Devlin and Pete Dunne weren't stripped of their titles, but the difference is they weren't choosing not to work because of the pandemic, they were actively being stopped from showing up because of travel restrictions. Dunne was also replaced in the tag team and the titles were then lost by Riddle and his replacement (Timothy Thatcher). Then there's the tournament to name an interim nxt cruiserweight champion who I guess Devlin will face off against whenever travel restrictions are lifted.

I was under the impression it was a singular invite per week (Charlotte to SD this week, Corbin to Raw on Monday) but as both Styles and Charlotte are on SD next week I guess not. Quite smart of them not to put a number on it as they quickly forgot their own restrictions last time.

WWE timed that commercial break badly. Graves blabbering about the match continuing after the break despite Bayley lying on the ground and away enough from the ring to not make it back in time since the count was about to hit 10 when it went to commercial.

Battle Royal was pretty good overall.

Some of the camera work during it was very bad but felt a bit more entertaining than the Battle Royal AEW had earlier this week.

Guess Creative got bored of the IIconics again since they just got quickly tossed to the side for this Sasha & Bayley vs. Alexa & Nikki tag title feud.

Moment of Bliss segment was surprisingly decent for once.

Outside of the controversial start which seems to be getting its fair share of ridicule and negative backlash online, this week's episode was pretty good overall.

WWE's version of wrestlers as crowds is still very hit or miss. Not because of them acting annoying but the reactions still not feeling genuine and/or them half-assing acting as a crowd at times.

Question for everyone, should the monthly thread idea continue next month or go back to weekly threads for SD?

The only thing I’d change is not updating the OP every week as it’s confusing. Just post the preview in the thread and change the thread title.

Ok. Will do the previews as separate posts if the monthly idea sticks.

Initially kept them all in the OP mainly as a quick and easy way for someone to see the previews all at once instead of having to scroll by posts to find each week's preview. Wasn't that much of an issue this month since it only reached 2.5 pages despite having 5 weeks instead of the usual 4 weeks for shows.
