View Full Version : Predict the twist in the MITB bank
I wonder if the twist in the MITB matches happening at the same time is that the first person who grabs a briefcase also grabs the other briefcase while they are up there.
Climbin' the corporate ladder.
What do you think 'the twist' will be, surely they have something cooked up.

I figured they would be in seperate rings. So both ladder matches will happen simultaneously in one ring?

Someone is getting thrown off the top of the tower and Asuka wins both cases.

A woman wins the men's mitb.
Probably this.
There's not many women-related "for the first time evers!" they can do, other than now having a female wrestler win a world title.

Simultaneous men's and women's royal rumbles in the cold on top of the building. Elimination occurs when you get tossed off the building.

A few wrestlers brawl into Vince's office and then they all suddenly stop as the camera slowly pans to Vince sitting at his desk eating a snowcone and loudly proclaims "Its such good shit."
Then Vince fires one of them on the spot for interrupting his one joy in life.

My original post from the other MITB thread:
Well, if I knew about this, I would have taken a ride down there and found a rooftop and check this out.
I wonder if this is somehow like The Raid/Dredd. They gotta fight their way to the roof to get the briefcase, but they have to go through the whole roster.
Brock is the final boss on the roof top. Braun is his right hand man.
Someone takes the elevator, but Randy Orton cuts the cables, killing the person inside the cab.
Get the Women's division to dress up really sexy and have them occupy various offices and they can be a "distraction".
Gronk is around for an impromptu 24/7 match.
This could be fun.

They planted the seeds on Smackdown.... even though she isn't in it right now... Alexa Bliss will get into the MitB match....
Then she'll accidentally win the Men's Briefcase instead. She'll go on to challenge and defeat Braun Strowman for the WWE Title.

The funniest part is that even if they do that, and the winner cashes in and she wins, it will be another thing that iMPACT did already that everyone actively ignores. And I'm not saying this as a fanboy, I'm saying it because it is such a LOLTNA move akin to that time that they made a big deal about going to do a tour and a televised show in India. They even did this a few weeks before WWE had theirs... and it still seemed like they were copying WWE in spite of being first! WWE would run hard with the "never been done" narrative, and people will just ride right by Tessa Blanchard and go along with the WWE version of history.

Since Shayna winning is the only logical choice to set up a feud with Ronda in the future, I say the screwy thing will happen with the men's briefcase. I honestly don't like any of the guys in the match as a briefcase winner right now (maybe Black, but I can't see them giving Raw two legit wins) so my prediction....
R-Truth ends up stealing the men's briefcase in order to set up a cash in on Gronkowski for the 24/7 Championship.

Becky should have just kept the belt while she went on maternity leave. They don't need so many damn belts.

Have Bayley appear on both shows and have Asuka destroy her for that belt. Eventually you bring back Becky for a unification.

Do the same concept next year except the only way to win each side's (male and female superstars individually) match is to eliminate all the other male/female superstars via tossing them off the roof to their deaths.
Hell, make it where they can even fight each other inter-gender style.

It was fine. I mean, there was 2 realistic options Monday night - do what they did or declare the championship vacant with some batshit crazy way of determining a new champ. I see the route they went as a step towards potentially (<- key word there) rebuilding Asuka's reputation as a legitimate dominant badass who runs roughshod over the entire RAW Women's division.

There's no guarantee Becky is going to come back. She's said it herself. She accomplished everything she could ever want. She was the top star of the company and fucking headlined the biggest show of the year. And she went out on top as a fan chosen star that the company didn't ignore. And she is leaving on positive terms.
Maybe she's back. Probably She's back. But she shouldn't keep the title.

Yeah her vacating the belt was the best option considering the uncertainty of her career's future now.
Even Ronda hasn't been back yet nor is in any rush to do so based on recent interviews despite her own baby making plans not coming to fruition by now.
The hit WWE took on star power for their women's division was massive. In the span of a little over a year, they lost their top mainstream star and top regular women's star with just Asuka and Charlotte left. Even then, only Asuka is left in terms of non-hated top stars since Charlotte has become the female Reigns/Cena in terms of how despised her booking has become.
