This looks so good, I really hope it is.

The first episode is a lot of fun, not going to binge it because it just feels great to have Steve Carrell back doing a comedy series.
It has a lot of gags at the expense of an unseen idiotic POTUS which is nice.

Second episode has a chimp in space bit that fucking kills.
Absolutely classic.

Binged it.

It was too good not to.

John Malkovich does some classic shit in this series.

Probably the scene of the series, funny as a chimp in space has ever been.

Might give this a shot even though it's supposed to not be good. I trust Seanny.

It has a fairly consistently spread quantity of quality material so it's not just a procession of gags one after another. It held my interest better than most Netflix originals.
There is some dross in there but it's mostly the daughter.

Episodes 1&2 are a great start with lots of funnybut it slows down a little into the middle and picks back up for a strong finish.

None of it is really what I'd call bad though, it's just not The Office.

Frank Drebin did you ever watch the chimp in space skit that I hold so dear? If so, how good was the chimp in space skit?

Bloody good eh?!

Lol...I'm 3 or 4 episodes in. The chimp was so bizarre but I laughed.

The laughs are played differently but I'm not sure why this has gotten shit reviews. It's been ok even if it's more of a light "background" show (like a Schitts Creek) that isn't constant gags or hitting you over the head with a theme - which I appreciate because this could easily turn into a "fuck Trump" show with constant little dick jokes. Maybe because it didn't "go there" that's why people gave it bad reviews. I dunno. I'm gonna watch the rest and it's been perfectly fine.

The General has more depth in the first few episodes than Michael Scott did in the first few seasons of the office.

Malkovich has a song in it.

Destor would approve.
