In WWE, they almost always have the champ come out first for title matches these days unless its a top star champ they actually care about.

AEW & Impact title vs. title match was mostly very good but the flow of that match was really off at times. Not sure if it was due to Swann's botched headstand causing him to be messed up for the rest of it or just a somewhat off night for both guys.

Rebellion itself was very entertaining overall despite the main event being less than what I was hoping for.

Hope Mauro can do more wrestling shows for Impact and/or AEW in the future since it was nice hearing him commentate again.

This week's show was enjoyable overall.

Moose, Sami Callihan, &amp; Chris Bey vs. Matt Cardona, Trey Miguel, &amp; Chris Sabin match was really good overall.

Moose catching Miguel's dive to the outside and then getting his powerbomb countered into a hurricanrana by Miguel right after was cool.

This week's show was all right based on what I was able to watch of it.

Not sure if VSK's done with AEW or this is just a low level talent exchange but good for him to get more work on tv. He's a very solid guy to have around in the X-Division these days.

According to PWI, Josh Matthews is returning to the booth for the next few weeks due to Matt Striker being currently busy with some outside commitments.

Josh Mathews is set to return to commentary for tonight’s Impact Wrestling episode.

Mathews left the Impact announce team back in January as he was promoted to the role of Senior Producer. Matt Striker and D’Lo Brown then took over, but now PWInsider reports that Striker will be missing several episodes going forward. Mathews and D’Lo will call the action until Striker can return.

It was noted that Striker is still with the company but has to take some time off to handle outside commitments. There is no word yet on when he will be back.

News sites are saying that Impact may be snagging up some big signings soon.

Buddy Murphy or Buddy Matthews (I believe that's his new gimmick name) is headed to Impact according to a leak from Scott D'More. He's great and should fit in well, though I don't see him as a guy who will gain a substantial amount of viewers.

Reports are conflicting on Bray Wyatt, Meltzer said he's as good as All Elite but I'm also reading that Impact will make a big play for him. He would be a major acquisition for Impact and I do think would be a guy who could add viewers to the show weekly.

And lastly according to Meltzer, Braun Stowman is headed to Impact. This would be big. I really don't care for a lot of the talent at Impact but I do think he would be pretty awesome there. Just want to note that I keep seeing him hashtag posts on Instagram with "Titan". I wonder if that will be his gimmick name going forward?

The opening triple threat match from this week's show between Laredo Kid, Trey Miguel, and Alex Zayne was really good. Among the best matches on Impact this year.

Impact debuting a new internet-based title is interesting and wonder if that was Matt Cardona's idea since he has past experience with that type of stuff.

I've been watching some Impact recently as it's been constantly on AXS and also I've been enjoying their channel on Pluto TV for some retro stuff.

Impact certainly seems to have some footing right now with a really good roster that could get even better if they decide to push bigger but even if they don't it's looking pretty good.

Having dudes like Morrisey and Moose who are so f'n big and ripped makes them stand out to me.

However guys like Sami Callihan gotta go. He's fat and becoming immobile, I can't stand to look at him.

Impact in from of a decent sized crowd in an actual venue is quite watchable for me. I can't stand the pandemic tapings though.

Just watched a Chris Sabin vs. Frankie Kazarian match from Impact. I guess TK has let Kaz pick up some Impact dates. Could be to promote their 20 years. Really good match. It broke down into doing a lot of no-selling, but they earned it more than most guys out there do. Both still really good with as long as they’ve been doing it.

It was the fake Rock stuff. When he’s being something more…unique to him, it works. I assume LA came from “Eli” and Drake means dragons and knights slay dragons.

I’m not a fan of the MMM gimmick. We’ll see how it goes. Will Triple H get behind it? Will he get behind the guy(s)?
