Just curious as to how many people here actually wrestle. I'm not counting backyard wrestling because people just mainly do that to goof around. (like myself)

I'm talking about the guys who have gone to a wrestling school to get trained and guys who actually work the indies.

I'm an amatuer wrestler. I'd like to do "professional" wrestling, but I'm only 125lbs. I don't think I'd be very intimidating.

Though mainly a promoter (at the moment - due to several prior
commitments; I'm full-timing into wrestling in 2004), I am also a
wrestler,and do the occasional managing.

The only real tie I have to the wrestling world is as an overly enthusiastic fan. However, I've got a good voice and I'm not too bad at keeping up with matches as they go, so I've been thinking about maybe doing some work as an announcer when I get out of college.

Everyone is welcomed to e-mail me for whatever reason; if
I can help people in any way,I'm glad to be able to do so.

Just please make sure when e-mailing that you put your
member names in the subject, as I get lots of e-mails
and would like to distinguish them from junk, work related,etc..

I wrestle i along with 3 friends actualy run my own promotion and i have also wrestled for a couple of feds in Australia i trained with Fit FInaly for a while and completed my training with a local indy guy by the name of Johnny Karagious. I was also lucky enough to wrestle a match with Steve Borden on one of my stints in Australia it was at a friend of mines house and that was a truly amazing experience because i am a huge fan of his and it was made all the better because he was WCW champion at the time.

I basicaly started out as a shoot/martial arts fighter fighting at all the local tounaments and doing a few in Australia and a couple in japan. From there i trained with Fit Finlay and was considered for the WCW powerplant when they came to Australia (i was training for a K1 style tournament at the time) but i was not considered to have the look i went on to finish my training with Johnny and have fought in my own fed ever since. And thats about it realy if you want to know anything more just ask.

I did back in high school. I seriously thought about trying pro wrestling but just concentrating on college right now.
