For me it was Test. I hated Test until he started killing people with his Big Boot, and even then I just wanted to skip to the finish.
Shane Douglas is also at the top.

Tbf, it’s rare I watch a segment in its entirety as I watch after the fact I find myself skipping a lot. Usually skip most of the women’s stuff, Moxley on AEW gets skipped a fair bit.

Corban... terrible.
Triple H mid massive promo, love the entrance, can live with the ring work normally but as soon as he raises a mic to his lips I'm changing the channel normally.
Stephanie Mc Mahon, never seen the appeal.
Bray Wyatt... Just kooky and not entertaining to me, in any of his versions tbh.

Hilariously, Mox is pretty skippable in AEW, but everything he did in New Japan is fucking gold. It's the same guy... why the fuck is he so "meh" here?!?

Corbin was a chore to watch ever since they tried to overextend his push in NXT. He got exposed after they stopped doing the "audience timed" squash matches and he was done. It also hasn't helped that he cut like one halfway memorable promo ("And if you don't know who I am... I really don't care!"), and has been slooooowly more comfortable on the mic over the last... how many years now?
He's apparently pretty personable and a really nice guy and deserves good things because of that, but this ain't it, chief. Unless there is something he can portray besides stoic badass or cowardly hypocrite - and do it CONVINCINGLY - he needs to just go away from television. Hell, even put him in a Zeed mask and have him join Retribution.

Because unlike in NJPW, here he can't help but make it all about WWE holding him down and they are horrible and look how great I am doing mostly the same goofy shit I can't stop talking about hating when they made me do it in WWE.
I don't think he has done anything memorable since the unsanctioned match with Omega. I think AEW should have moved the belt over to MJF, because at least it would be more interesting.
It's well past the time when they should have put a singles title on a non WWE guy, and MJF is really the only heel that himself is a non WWE guy with no attached former WWE guy as his mouthpiece.
I'm also not counting Eddie Kingston, because I'm still not sure if he is a mouthpiece who also wrestles sometimes like M.V.P., or if he is going to consistently compete himself.

Definitely Shane Douglas for me too. He is actually a pretty terrible wrestler on top of having a grating personality and an awful look. The Franchise was as forced as they come and I can’t remember enjoying any of his matches, despite loving ECW.
The one my brother and I talk about is DOA/Los Bariquas endless feud on Raw, week after week. It didn’t matter what combo, none of them were over and any combination of them was an immediate piss break/channel change.

I hated the entire "gang warfare" period of RAW. Thankfully The Nation was able to move away from that shit. Also, they were allowed to have a personality within the faction. DoA and Los Boriquas were just paroled skinhead biker or Puerto Rican in a wifebeater, and I dont remember who was even in either group besides Savio Vega (because of course he was) and the umpteenth rebranding of Crush (with clip-on face jewelry)

Also didn't help that the company has had a bad track record of putting girls who can't wrestle in matches, and leaving girls who *can* wrestle off TV completely if they weren't on the apron in a thrown together 8 v 8 tag team piss break match.

I actually liked it... what little bit there was of it. On top of the theme, the hype package the titantron was made from was pretty hype about the then recent MetRx strongman win, and the intangible charisma bit where he didn't have to cut a promo and controlled the crowd volume with his hands. Seemed poised for a decent, refreshed babyface push, then he apparently got hurt again. I personally think it's sad to not know how that run may or may not have ended up. Might have sucked ass, might have been great in its simplicity with the crowd behind him in a "right time, right place" scenario.
Then again, him not being injury prone might not have led to the "THAT'S WHAT I DO!!!" badass heel Mark Henry we'd eventually get, or, more importantly, the infamous salmon suit jacket.

I really enjoyed Del Rio, and was one of the only ones to love his face run......
When he made his return with Zeb Colter and then the whole League of Nations thing.... that was when I couldn't stand him, though. So I can get changing the channel for him during that part of his career.
I never hesitated to "change the channel" when the Dudley Boyz competed on RAW during the original brand extension.

He had the same problem as Sheamus in regards to WWE pushed both way too fast and raked up the big accolades way too early before both felt ready as big stars. That led to them feeling like very forced hand-picked stars and crowds not being invested as a result.
A similar thing happened with Lesnar during his intital WWE run but the difference was Lesnar had that big star aura right from the start so it felt way less forced. Plus him being the rare beast type guy that Vince loves that actually has great ring skills.

I challenge you to go back and watch Boriqua's and DOA matches now. You'll see how bad ass wrestling used to be vs the play pretend shit WWE produces today. Not saying they are classics but they beat the shit out of each other. If you like that style it really pops out to me when watching back now.

I watch AEW every week and I cannot remember the last time Mox alluded to WWE. I am pretty certain that you "watch" AEW to come on here here and shit on it. I mean if you don't like it so often, why the hell do you watch it? It's not like you have a life long habit you are breaking by not watching.
And moreover, there is no way you can enjoy the full scope of any show while skipping back and forth between products. It doesn't make sense.
Now in a less critical note of you. I absolutely love Mox in AEW. I think he is the absolute top guy in the business right now from character to promo to matches. You really couldn't ask for a better World Champion, for my money. I do think he will lose to Omega on the 2nd but I don't think that story will end there. I do worry what his arch will be without the belt but I have faith.

In today's WWE, I think it's easier for me to identify as to who doesn't make me change the channel. I don't watch WWE much, but I like these guys a lot.
1) Bray Wyatt "The Fiend"
2) Randy Orton
3) Retribution
4) Roman Reigns
All of these guys stand out in some way and connect with the audience. Furthermore, most of these guys are good in the ring and actually know how to 'sell' and 'tell a story' in the ring...an art form that has almost been completely lost by the new generation by the way, which makes me wonder as to what they're teaching down there at the Performance Center. The actual calibre of Westling is quite high, but these guys are coming out of the Performance Centre without any clue on how to tell a story or sell moves. Everything is just a spot fest these days. May as well be ice-dancing or figure skating in there.
That's my challenge to the WWE, AEW, and any wrestling promotion these days:
1) Create characters and gimmicks that the fans can connect with. No more generic "first names" and "last names." Bring back gimmicks and characters. The Fiend, Undertaker, Mankind, Goldust, Edge, Big Bossman, etc., CHARACTERS that pull the audience in and/or cater to a certain demographic.
2) Tell a story in the ring. Bring back the art of selling. Stop using finishers as high spots FFS. Go listen to Bret Hart on interviews. He says the same thing.
