I don't totally get it, what does the stage selection mean and why do you randomly go to different stages when you complete one. Also I find myself going as slow as I can just to let my opponents die

What... I selected stage 2-2 in a bunch of games but never got sent to that stage, but randomly got thrown around to like 1-4 and 5-3

Ya thats a small issue i hate. It's a voting system. 1-1 is almost always chosen. I wish they made it like Survival Footbal. Unlock all the stages and you choose the one you want to go through first and once you clear it, its locked and you cant go through it again.

Once you get through 1-2 and get to a warp zone, it gets more creative. You can choose a zone with weird mobs and kill them and send them to your attackers or random people. Which is why the Lakitu video posted here is fucking hilarious.

There's basically just one main requirement: you need to be at star rank (level) 100 or above. From there, hold L as you are starting a match (it's recommended that you hold it until it begins) and bam, you can celebrate the Year of Luigi in 2020.

Played 6 games. Won the last 2.

First two games was figuring out what was going on 3rd game was 3rd place. Messed up early on the 4th game. Destroyed everyone on the 5th and 6th game. Doubt I will play it again.
