FWA's shit, sorry but i don't like it, too many 1,2 kick outs.. that's not wrestling. The fakest thing i have to of seen in that show was when a woman was wrestling a guy and she kept kicking out no matter what move and coming back with her own moves which looked more powerful than the guys moves, and the guy only won thanks to interference..Blah that's not for me, and yes im from the UK.

Plus FWA is quite good. Frontiers of Honor was a really good event. I don't get to see it as much as I'd like to though :(

There is a lot of good stuff on the channel but some of the indy stuff just makes me cringe. You watch rehearsed ballet and they expect it to look like pro wrestling. I was watching some CZW the other day where these two Johnny Marks doing a reversal spot that went through about 59 moves and then the crowd clapped. I was like "this is the most rehearsed crap I've ever seen!". That isn't pro wrestling. Angle, Benoit, Guerrero, etc can pull this off because everything they do looks real.

And Jesus, how skinny are some of these guys? It's never good when you are sitting in your chair and thinking you can kick the guys arse who you are watching.

The wrestling channel is pretty good. Promotions like TNA, ROH, MLW and FWA all feature some great wrestlers such as AJ Styles, Christopher Daniels, Jerry Lynn, Raven, Jonny Storm, Low Ki etc. However there is one promotion which I think is just pure crap and that is CZW.

Totally agree, especially on the CZW part. The wrestling channel is good because it gives indy feds some exposure over here so we don't have to just watch WWE, i have been impressed by the japanese wrestling though, but the womens wrestling federation(can't remember what its called) in japan they have on there is treated as a joke, the crowd was laughing all the way through it was embarresing(sp?) the women wrestling just acted like a couple of clowns and i had to turn it over, couldn't stand that shit.
Probably the only ones i watch with any interest are TNA and the japanese wrestling

Saw American Dragon v Doug Williams in FWA after TNA 2 weeks ago. Pretty good match.

Actually, I think GAEA is pretty good most of the time. Some of the women are just amazing to watch.

To do with the contract and deal apparently, this is what I've heard. Their deal was that if they signed, they would be the sole UK indy fed to be aired on the channel.

I've started to watch the Shoot Interviews, particularly the Jim Cornette and Bobby Heenan ones because they are both hilarious.

Never seen the womens wrestling, FWA is ok (Burchill kicks ass), barely seen any ROH but I enjoy it, MLW is good and TNA ranges from the entertaining to the utter crap (Every time I tune in theres something about Abyss and Jeff Jarrett) and the "World Of Sport" thing is only good for the Dynamite Kid footage.

Ok the official line that i've heard is as follows:

The FWA reserve the right to screen all UK based promotional tapes that are sent in the TWC if the FWA feel that it's not up to the standards they can tell the TWC not to show it. This deal was set up for 5 years and 2 weeks ago was extended to 7 years.

As far as if there's UK shows putting on, have you seen the crap indy's they got already on the TWC? 3PW is some of the worst stuff i've seen in ages. I know lots of UK promotions that have sent their tapes in and never heard any kind of reply.

Just a few days ago there was the Supercard show which was dedicated to the best of AJ Styles. It included matches with Lynn, Daniels, Jody Fleisch, Jonny Storm and Low Ki. Anything involving AJ is just brilliant and the Jim Cornette intrview was hilarious including some bashing of Russo and Nash.
