I've been reading that he had been experiencing Covid symptoms prior to his death

he was just on college game day talking about the movie he was in friday, where he stole bikes. guess that was his last interview.

It’s actually crazy—Tommy Lister was in A LOT of shit. Was just watching a fresh prince ep with him a day or 2 before his passing.

And he was ALWAYS memorable. Obviously not tons of range (at least he never got to show it) but an undoubtedly stories career.

I will now forever refer to “Friday” as “That movie where Zeus stole bikes.”

When I was a kid I was so pumped when I got the VHS of Summerslam with Hogan/Cake vs Savage and Zeus... That was probably my first big disappointment as a fan. But I love Friday, RIP Tiny.

RIP.

I knew of Zeus because of his acting roles. The Dark Night and The Fifth Element come to mind.

Regarding Mr. Lister: I was watching the edited-for-television edition of No Holds Barred on TBS in the mid-1990s. (I was a -little young- for the film when it ran-in theaters, so I only caught-it-on cable.)

When Zeus introduced himself to Hogan in the underground-fighting arena, I was confused because I didn't-learn-about Greek gods until a few years after seeing that scene.

I misheard his name as "Seuss" and wondered aloud: "If he's Dr. Seuss, then where's the Cat in the Hat? Will Thing One and Thing Two double-team the Hulkster?"
