Just watched this promo by a guy named Nathan Steel. This is one of my favorite promos this year. I think he does an incredible job.
Watch it because I don't want to spoil anything but if you did,
In the video he goes on about world history and critiques the changing world. He touches upon current world issues and the development of humanity as a whole and then circles back to tie it all back to wrestling and the show he is wrestling for and working. The ambient music in the background sets the tone well as well, its like the opening of a Hollywood megapicture.
the genius in how he says "Tik Tok, Instagram and Coronavirus" in the same minute. This way he is lumping in two social phenomena with a pandemic, making an equivalence that says, Tik Tok and Social Media are like a Coronavirus for the mind.
Then follows it up by having the viewer ask themselves, "Who Am I?". Honestly, way too high brow and high IQ for a wrestling promo. This man needs his own TV talk show
