Card and preview for tonight's 205 Live show:
In what promises to be an action-packed edition of 205 Live, Mansoor will put his 40-0 record on the line against Curt Stallion, while Jake Atlas and August Grey will join forces for what should be a heated tag bout against Tony Nese and Ariya Daivari.

Mansoor and Stallion have been racking up some recent victories in the tandem ranks, first as partners in an Eight-Man Tag Team Match alongside Ashante “Thee” Adonis and Jake Atlas against “Bolly-Rise,” then in a traditional tag bout opposite Ever-Rise last week.

But while Stallion was happy to help Mansoor reach the 40-0 mark last week, he’s seemingly even hungrier to become the one in 40-1, as evidenced by a tense interview with Josiah Williams this afternoon.

Additionally, Atlas and Grey will slug it out with their recent tormentors, Nese and Daivari.

Whether their alliance is merely born from necessity, Atlas and Grey will nevertheless have a golden opportunity to battle their rivals on an even playing field, a rare occurrence when dealing with The Premier Athlete and Daivari Dinero.

Will the unlikely partners get some payback against The 205 Live OGs, or will Nese and Daivari back up their claims that they run the purple brand?

Something about Dominik feels a bit off thought. He's been more slower and/or cautious in the ring than he was before for his matches. Could just be some jitters but also could have been some bad advice given to work the typical slow WWE style that doesn't fit him well.

Grey and Daivari to slug it out on must-see edition of 205 Live

205 Live is set to play host to a heated grudge match between August Grey and Ariya Daivari, as well as an exciting tag team bout pitting Mansoor and Curt Stallion against The Bollywood Boyz.

Grey and Daivari have been at each other’s throats in recent weeks in one of the purple brand’s fastest-escalating rivalries, and they’ll finally collide tonight. Daivari has made no secret of his disdain for all 205 Live newcomers, but Grey in particular has drawn the ire of The Persian Prince, especially after The Life of The Party had the temerity to steal his gold chains.

With Jake Atlas and Tony Nese each barred from ringside, what will happen in a true one-on-one encounter?

And after tearing the house down in a singles clash that was narrowly won by Mansoor last week, Mansoor and Stallion will go back to tag team competition and pair up for a bout against The Bollywood Boyz, but some friction has seemingly developed between the partners.

Another tense encounter saw Stallion suggest that he would be the one to score the winning fall tonight and extend Mansoor’s 41-match winning streak, while Mansoor brushed off his partner’s comments by telling him that he would only tag him into the bout if he deemed it necessary.

Bayley managed to pull it off greatly with her heel switch but Sasha has been more annoying in her new role and not in a good way.

Also the build for this Sasha vs. Bianca match for Mania has been mostly shit.

That might have been the most rushed contract signing segment ever in WWE history.

Whole segment felt like a rushed mess but not entirely in a bad way. WWE likely did a piss poor job timing out the matches and segments this week and the main event segment suffered as a result.

This week's show was mostly enjoyable overall. Had some pretty bad moments but also some pretty good moments as well. Nothing really worth watching if you skipped besides Big E's promo.

Daivari Dinero figures to enter tonight’s match in an even worse mood than usual, as he was defeated by August Grey in controversial fashion last week when Grey held the rope while scoring the winning pinfall.

Still, Daivari’s path back to the winner’s circle won’t get any easier tonight, as he’s set to take on Adonis, who enters on an impressive five-match winning streak on the purple brand.

Meanwhile, 205 Live’s other self-proclaimed OG, Tony Nese, has grown agitated with Atlas trying to “play hero,” as Atlas has watched Grey’s back in recent weeks in an attempt to even the odds against The Premier Athlete and The Persian Prince.

Nobody else in wrestling and combat sports does that or as often as WWE does.

That match was weird. Pretty much was almost all Nia beating the crap out of Sasha and Sasha needing shenanigans just to be able to win. Nothing about that match made Sasha look good nor Bianca Belair who showed up for support at ringside. Even managed to not make Shayna look good either.

That Big E & Apollo Crews segment was great.

Big E channeling his inner GTA playing days with trying to run over Crews with a golf cart.

Their match and Bryan vs. Reigns are the only matches I'm actually interested in seeing at Fastlane. Drew vs. Sheamus would have been another but WWE made that match completely meaningless once they announced Drew vs. Lashley for Mania and Sheamus not caring at all afterwards nor wanting Drew to put his title shot on the line.

SD's women's division somehow managed to become way less interesting after the Rumble despite having what should have been the best main roster women's storyline on paper going into Mania.

This week's show was average at best but also one of SD's weaker shows in a while. Was still way better as a go-home show than RAW was.

The Big E & Apollo Crews segment and the comical hype video for Sami vs. Corbin were the best stuff on tonight's show. Everything else ranged from okay to awful.

Fastlane still feels like a completely unnecessary show after this week's go-home shows.

Not sure if Bryan is making fun of WWE's shitty Mania match booking for RAW or their booking in general for Mania this year with that dig about how a bunch of people are getting handed dream matches and title matches without having to do anything to earn it.

Like that's pretty much how the RAW Women's title and RAW Tag title matches were made on the RAW side for Mania. They even did it twice with the RAW Women's title since Charlotte claimed a title match first and then Rhea did the same weeks later.

The show closing brawl between Edge, Bryan, & Reigns was really good.

Wasn't really feeling SD that much this week. Show itself was somewhere between meh and average overall. Take away all the Universal title related stuff from this week's show and it was somewhat boring which is bad for a Road to Mania show this close to Mania itself.

Don't get me wrong, Daniel Bryan being inserted into the match (we all knew it was going to happen) makes it ten times more interesting than had it just been Edge and Reigns, but I'm kinda worn out on constant triple threat world title matches at Wrestlemania.

Can't they find a way to put Jey Uso in it too and make it a fatal-4-way?

I was down for the Bryan vs. Edge Winner Takes On Reigns scenario. It’d give Edge a bit more reason to be doing what he’s currently doing and would give us 2 great singles matches rather than 1 great Triple Threat.

Actually adding Jey would have made it more interesting, especially when the predictable "fuck you Uce" moment when he turns on Reigns.

One of the rumors floating around that I don't believe is that Vince got cold feet on doing Roman vs. Edge straight up because Edge's appearance makes him look too old and haggard to believably be in a one on one 20+ minute WM level main event with someone like Roman.

I don't buy it because that would've left Bryan with seemingly no program unless they just did Bryan vs. Jey again which they've already done a bunch on SmackDown.
