Much deserved. Say what you will about his booking or decisions behind the scenes but beyond all that he was a really great on-screen performer.

He was the first GM and the best one by a pretty substantial margin.

I wonder if he will sign a deal with WWE and stop appearing for AEW.

ERIC BITCH-OFF you say youre proud to be in the hall of fame? Well this hall is a HOLE because it doesn't have Big Poppa Pump Scott Steiner! You say your name is going to be with all the greats, but if you do the math, do the math and multiply. You take all the hall of famers, and you multiply them together, now you have Bret Hart in there and Bret Hart is equal to ZERO so if you multiply them all by ZERO, you get ZERO, which makes it a hall of SHAME. So Bitchoff, youre such a sad sack of a man, that you are NEGATIVE ONE so when you multiply you by zero, you get NEGATIVE zero which is a black hole and I wouldn't go near any black holes unless they're my freaks!

Bit surprised they never bothered to induct him earlier.
Had the rumored all WCW class actually happened several years ago, that would have been the ideal time to include him.

Or with the nWo? So bizarre.

Yeah that would have been a good time as well since he was one of the more important members in the group.
It wouldn't happen in a billion years but Teddy Turner should induct him.

So many of the truly great moments in recent wrestling history wouldn’t have happened without this guy. WCW was great despite its problems and he challenged WWE to go beyond and deliver a quality of content that they will never deliver again and haven’t even come close to in the 20+ years since.
Great choice!

Seems like a missed opportunity for the "reality era" or whatever. Could have had the NWO come out last, do their speech, kayfabe it up at the end with a shoot, and then tear the fucking HOF stage apart.
Still maybe not as good as the original NWO, of course, but a helluva way to have it brought in by trashing a "real" event.
