Daniel Bryan vs. Jey Uso Street Fight was pretty good although not one of the better matches those two have had recently. Something about the match felt a bit off.

The post-match rampage by Bryan was great though.

This week's show was mostly average at best overall but also somewhat skippable. Did feel more like the go-home show for Mania despite there still being a week left in this year's Road to Mania.

Neither one gave a shit about them still being champs or the idea of them possibly defending the belts on little rest since tonight isn't Mania.

That promo by Sasha was terrible.

Considering how bad the SD Women's title feud has been, feels like a big mistake to have that as the headliner for Night 1 of Mania instead of the WWE title match.

The Hurt Business breakup stuff was stupid but the rest of the Lashley vs. Drew build has mostly good and one of the very few good builds for Mania this year.

First they get kicked out of the Hurt Business, then got manhandled by Lashey in back-to-back weeks, and now they were among the first three guys quickly eliminated from the Andre Battle Royal match.

That group is still among the biggest busts ever in WWE history.

Andre Battle Royale was a fun match overall.

Jey Uso winning was a bit of a surprise even if he pretty much no sold the Kinshasa by Nakamura and the finish was anti-climatic.

Good job giving Jey the win, he’s been one of the biggest success stories of the Thunderdome era. Especially in an era where WWE usually bench the other half of a tag team when one of them gets hurt.

Reigns promo was okay but also went on too long.

This week's Mania go-home show was fine overall. It was a way better go-home show than the dump of a show RAW was earlier this week.

Still have no clue what a Nigerian Drum match is because WWE completely forgot to explain what it actually is these past couple weeks.

Apparently it took until late into this week for WWE's Creative team to actually figure out what a Nigerian Drum Fight is supposed to be despite booking it beforehand for Mania according to the Observer.

Its just a regular No DQ style match but with a stronger emphasis towards striking and kicking so that the hits are loud and create a drum-like sound.

Tonight’s WWE SmackDown on FOX will be the special post-WrestleMania 37 edition of the show.

WWE has announced two matches for tonight – Otis vs. Rey Mysterio, plus Robert Roode and Dolph Ziggler defending their SmackDown Tag Team Titles against The Street Profits.

WWE has indicated that we will find out what’s next for WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns following his WrestleMania win over Daniel Bryan and WWE Hall of Famer Edge. As noted before, Reigns’ double pin may be addressed tonight by Adam Pearce and referee Charles Robinson.

WWE is also teasing that we will find out what’s next for new SmackDown Women’s Champion Bianca Belair following her WrestleMania 37 win over Sasha Banks. An appearance by new WWE Intercontinental Champion Apollo Crews and his new muscle, Commander Azeez, is also likely.

205 Live is set to play host to a pair of exciting singles collisions, as August Grey will throw down with Tony Nese, while Jake Atlas is primed for a match with Ashante “Thee” Adonis.

With three wins in his last four matches, Adonis is suddenly one of the hottest Superstars on the purple brand. He has seemingly taken The Brian Kendrick’s teachings to heart, as his raw ability is now complemented by an improved focus from bell to bell.

He’ll be opposed by Atlas, who has a recent win over Nese to his credit.

Two weeks ago, Grey passed on the opportunity to end Mansoor’s undefeated streak via count-out when he broke the official’s cadence and was soon rolled up by his opponent.

Grey also scored a recent controversial win against Ariya Daivari, using the ropes for leverage, and he’ll now have to contend with The Persian Prince’s partner, Tony Nese.

Daivari interestingly raised Grey’s hand when Grey picked up a win over Adonis, perhaps admiring how The Life of the Party broke the rules against Daivari himself. What will happen when Grey collides with Nese?

I give WWE a couple months at most before they find a way to screw up all of that good will and momentum her match with Sasha generated.

She's always been more of the average type in terms of skills. She just looked great back then because the majority of the women wrestlers in WWE were not good in the ring nor on the mic. Didn't help WWE barely cared about the division and mostly hired based on looks instead of skills.

Ever since NXT started to do a very good job developing women talent, Natty has felt a lot less special and average to below average in the ring.

This week's show was entertaining but felt way more like just a regular episode of SD than a special After Mania show. WWE dropped the ball big time with the post-Mania call-ups and surprise debuts this year.

Yeah I sort of got the impression they’d incorporate Seth in there as Cesaro is an “unknown commodity” in the main event. Need to be cautious though as to not sacrifice everybody at the alter (table?) of Roman though.

Several weeks ago, August Grey uncharacteristically used the ropes for leverage to pick up a win against Ariya Daivari, but for WWE Universe members who expected the typically short-tempered Persian Prince to blow a gasket and fume for the foreseeable future, that certainly hasn’t been the case.

Instead, Daivari seems intrigued by The Life of the Party and his willingness to break the rules to score a victory, even raising his arm following Grey’s win against Ashante “Thee Adonis” last month.

Tonight, Grey once again takes on Adonis, who earned a victory of his own against Daivari last month.

Half of tonight's show involved Reigns, Cesaro, and Bryan in some form. The other half was just the usual people and matches done the past couple weeks.

Throughout several battles both as tag team partners and as opponents over the past few months, Jake Atlas and August Grey have seemingly built a healthy respect for one another. And though they may seem like a bit of an odd pairing, sound teamwork will be a must when they join forces for a tag team bout against 205 Live veterans The Bollywood Boyz.

In recent weeks, Daivari has been hellbent on convincing Grey to embrace underhanded tactics, but he and Tony Nese will need to focus on the task at hand when they collide with Ever-Rise.

In fact, just last month, Chase Parker teamed up with Sunil Singh in the latest iteration of “Bolly-Rise” and scored a tag team victory against The Premier Athlete and The Persian Lion. Wonder who Shayna pissed backstage to get this piss poor treatment she's been getting in recent times.

Natty & Tamina vs. Nia & Shayna was meh like almost all of their matches have been soo far.

These Aleistar Black vignettes feel like what Bray Wyatt and the Wyatt Family should have been without any of the spooky supernatural stuff attached to it.

Then again WWE probably going to have some sort of wacky supernatural power in store for Black once he actually shows up in the ring again.

If WWE was expecting some sort of Jinder-like situation with Crews for Nigeria, seems the opposite is happening instead and not because he's a heel based on a recent article from there.

Turns out he's been getting a good amount of ridicule over how terrible his Nigerian accent is and WWE's portrayal of his new gimmick not being that well received.

IC title match was pretty good but grown completely tired of WWE going overboard with the amount of DQs (and non-finishes) for their matches these days.

Universal title match happening next is a bit of a surprise.

Going to be a really long match if that's the actual main event.

Show itself has been fine so far but nothing really special.

Didn't think it would be possible but Michael Cole managed to do the most lifeless recap of Bryan's monumental WWE title win moment at Mania 30.

Reigns new theme is pretty cool but has a very eerie vibe to Carmella's new theme.

Like the male version of it in terms of tone.

Also WWE dragged the hell out of the start of this Universal title match. From its announcement of it being next till it actually started was around 20 minutes.

Next week's show being a "Throwback" special is interesting since WWE teased an 80s & early 90s flavor in the ad but SD wasn't even a thing back then.

At least RAW's throwback shows were actually based on RAW being around back then.

Universal title match was great and easily in the pile for best matches in WWE this year so far.

Only negative was that match really could have used the split screen ad break treatment since the multiple ad breaks hurt it a bit.

This week's show was mostly very enjoyable overall. Need to think about it a bit but SD felt better than NXT for best WWE show this week.
