Bill Goldberg's official website has just been updated with a very interesting piece of news:

Goldberg attended the Stanley Cup Finals game on Saturday night courtesy of the NHL, and following the game, he had dinner with Bret Hart. Goldberg and Hart again met together on Sunday. Goldberg's site promises to have exclusive information about the time the two stars spent together in the near future.

As many may remember, Hart's in-ring career came to an end, as the result of a kick to the head he took from Goldberg during a match between the two in WCW.

Well, at least it sounds like Bret was a good sport about it. I mean, I don't think I'd be able to hang around with the guy that gave me a career-ending concussion without holding a grudge, but if things did go by smoothly, then more power to him.

I think Bret knows that there are risks involved in wrestling also. I mean, sure Goldberg didn't have to kick Bret as hard as he did, but there still are risks invovled. It could have been alot worse - look at Droz.

Yeah Bret Hart is a champ. He knows Goldberg didn't do anything on purpose, even if he is a big oaf. I wouldn't expect him to hold any grudges against Goldberg for it. That just goes to show you what kind of man Bret Hart is. He will take deeper offense to being screwed over by people he trusted, than to a guy who accidentally ended his career. I'm just thankful that, and I'm sure Bret is as well, Bret had his time to shine.

Best there is, best there was, and the best there ever will be. This is just another reason why.

He seemed more pissed off by the fact that Goldberg didn't acknowledge that he did something wrong/bad.

Actually, he didnt have an "Ahh shit, my baby just got hit!" look on his face, cause the truck missed and the pyro went off to late.

As soon as he saw the fuckups, he just turned to the guys around him and asked "Ok, who do I get to kill first?"

Then Kutcher ran out and was bummed that it didnt go off as planned.

For the record, Goldberg has been sorry about what happened ever since it happened. I asked him if Bret was ever coming back and he was gutted he thought he wasn't (this was before Bret officially hung the bootss up).

Bret Hart is a God
