Looking forward to this.
I have every reason not to be in on this...
But i'm in
And i cant explain why.
I needed Lori Stroud and Michael Myers dead 15 years ago, but somehow, i'm still in .
They should bring back Paul Rudd

Nice nod with the Silver Shamrock masks on a couple of those victims.
Also, good on them for releasing a horror movie in time for... you know... Halloween. I don't get why Hollywood moved away from that and started pushing out all your Saws and Paranormal Activities around Christmas.

Watching elderly men wearing cheap costumes kill people for literally no reason is cool.
Plus, it’s inspiring. It shows that you’re never too old to commit murder.

I just watched this and while there were some great ideas it really had far too much scene chewing amongst the predictable deaths and disappointingly cliched action scenes to be anything more than a real disappointment.
The thing I liked about the last one was how quickly they brought it back to reality and stripped away any semblance of relation to the hack & slash sequels that came after the original. Sadly this new one is handicapped by the prevalence of bloodshed and copycat gore that honestly looks like somebody is deliberately celebrating the shittier Halloween films and it’s imitators... it’s a bad style choice when the story starts off so well with the flashbacks and the earnest belief that Michael is dead.
I’m a bit annoyed Michael is now back to invincible bogeyman status. The first one really made him look mortal for a bit there...
Halloween Kills - 2/4
No real spoilers, just might be off-putting to those who are yet to see it.

I'll give this zero stars. I remember watching the beginning of this when it first came on peacock and I couldn't get past the first 10 minutes. Really boring.

Highlighted the quote with my biggest issue. Too many "versions" and its like this one borrowed some from here n there and made it into one big pile of shit. Gorefest for wanking, it is.
Yeah, I just didn't care for this one at all. It's making Michael into Jason Voorhees superzombie. I prefer Michael as a more human antagonist, just like I prefer Jason as a superzombie. This just didn't work for me, at all.

After I wrote that review I actually read a few that shared the same gripe. Always nice to agree with people who get paid to watch movies...
