This is the worst of the world of pro wrestling. Someone correct me if I'm wrong but didn't she initially get hurt because she took a stiff spot from some greenhorn (Rosey Lottalove?) which caused long term damage? Like, "no longer able to wrestle" long term damage? Then TNA didn't cover her medical bills and there was a lawsuit at some point?

Yeah, just the description of it is harrowing. Saying how she's all alone even as the chat is blowing up with wrestlers and fans trying to tell her she's now, and her phone vibrating with people trying to reach out to her.

I wanted to have hope when I heard her family knew her address and was sending the police there, but knowing the video ended with her cocking a pistol and trying to get her cats out of the room...I had a sinking feeling whatever was about to happen was imminent.

All jokes aside, a woman made a video crying uncontrollably in a severely mentally depressed state with a gun that more than likely she then used to kill herself right after filming. People who have had suicide touch their family or someone close to them don't need to be exposed to that. It's a terribly heartbreaking thing that happened. Go seek it out if you want to watch it. I am not sure if she was actually released before WCW shut down or if she didnt take the buyout like many of them didnt. I know she ended up in WWE developmental later on for a bit but never got called up.

TMZ recently reported more details regarding Daffney's passing.

TMZ.com acquired a copy of the Police report related to the passing of Shannon "Daffney" Spruill late last week, which noted Spruill was found with what is believed to have been a self-inflicted gunshot wound to her chest inside her locked apartment.

According to TMZ, police went to Spruill's apartment in Norcoss, GA, meeting her mother there after Spruill streamed a disturbing video on her social media that indicated she was going to self-hard herself. Authorities knocked on the door but receiving no answer, left without trying to gain entry. When they returned several hours later, they found her car and had the building give them access to the apartment, only to find the apartment's deadbolt was locked. The local fire department broke open the door, at which point Daffney was found.
