The most logical conclusion then is the voting was not overwhelmingly for AEW, thus it must not be real and you will disregard those votes. I came in joking lightheartedly, but you saying they are invalid because they are not the way an AEW fan would vote and then saying it is some "grand conspiracy", does not excuse the fact that you have deemed which votes are and which votes are not valid.

Just tell us all who you think the right answers to the questions are, and we will just accept that those are the real answers.

You also decided to post the CM Punk meme picture alluding to me being upset that AEW wasn't winning.

Could care less what people vote for choices but do care that someone decided to abuse the honor system and messed around with the two TPWW categories that actually matter the most.

The invalid votes got tossed because Google's tracking showed it was one person spamming the voting every 30-40 seconds and kept voting the same exact way in several key categories but thinking they were smart enough to avoid detection by tweaking some of their picks for the lesser categories. The fact the same issue popped up twice in the record and followed the exact same routine for spammed votes made it a lot more obvious when I decided to check how things were going for the first time earlier today.

Thus those votes MUST be invalid, because as the relevant meme suggests, "Fed Bad".

There are also a few issues.
1. Just make it so people need to be signed into Google to vote.
2. Maybe the same submission got added multiple times because of shitty internet or google docs. Maybe it was just loading slowly and submit was clicked a bunch of times.
3. Make it only available to forum members. Look at the forum " Active Users". As of right now there is 66 active users. 4 members, and 62 guests.

I would like to think it wasnt just somebody trying to cause you issues, but even so you set it up that people can vote more than once.

https://prowrestling.net/site/ does polls all the time, you get to vote once and than you see the current results. Set it up that way and you would not have worry about disqualifying votes.

Now that the voting is officially close, can talk a bit about the vote spamming incident that occurred earlier and what damages it did to the voting tallys pre- and post-scrubbing.

There were two main instances of it with the latter being a big giveaway of the shenanigans going down. Basically the timestamps, frequency of voting, and the same pattern being followed for the first few categories gave it way in the end since it also showed up in the much larger first instance.

The Worst Wrestler not being as uniformed in picks as the others was just a red herring since a similar thing happened in the first instance.

In regards to if the scrubbing actually impacted any of the categories, only the 1st and 4th category saw an actual real change with a new #1. Everything else kept its #1 spot the same but with the massive 40-50+ vote lead get whittled down to its real number and some minor flip flopping here and there below the leaders.

The few post-scrubbing votes that came in did end up causing a couple of ties to be broken and a mini late surge for a couple other categories.

Now that's done, the official winners results post should be up within an hour.

Being signed into Google is the easiest way, as long as we dont sell each other's email addresses! I do not see a downside to needing to be signed in to vote.

The only real downside is having to cross-check the email address for each vote with the email address logged with the forums to keep track who voted assuming their Google account is the same or similar to their TPWW name. Gets tougher if its not.

Sub-forums makes it members only who can vote but the downside is someone being able to view the results before voting and also knowing where the vote tallies stand afterwards which leads to potential vote swaying. Plus it ruins the big surprise reveal at the end for the final results.

Honor system before just put a lot of trust in everyone who voted was a member and only voted once while keeping their votes and the results a big secret until it was time for the big finale reveal.
