This game looks sick. It's out and it's getting pretty awesome reviews. I think I'll get this. I think this is the only movie-made-game I've ever been so hyped about.
The graphics look sick. For tose wondering, this is like Halo. It looks pretty awesome.
Thoughts?
It's not like Halo at all. It's close range weapons only and it incorporates stealth action and action adventure. The graphics are suppose to be quite detailed and slick. Looks to be ok and worth a rent. I hate Vin Diesel though.

which brings us to the question of "will the game be better then the movie, or vice versa?" because from what i've heard, the movie looks just.. dumb.. and the game looks like it kicks ass *nodding*

what console?
I just watched Pitch Black tonight, and that was a pretty shit movie, mainly because of the end.
I can't see Chronicles of Riddick being that good.
I've only seen a few screenshots, and I may have to give it a rent.
Can't wait for the movie to come out. :y:

It was made from Vin Diesel's own game developer.

Hmm it looks pretty awesome, just put it at the top of my queue for Gamefly, should get here soon.
It was made from Vin Diesel's own game developer.
No, it's developed by Starbreeze. They are a Swedish company that have nothing to do with Vin. The only thing he had to do with the game was the voice and some help with the storyline. That's because the story is basically his idea after Pitch Black. Vin's company was going to be called Tigon Games but I don't think he even started it.

It's close range weapons only
Actually there are plenty of guns.
Yes, but they are close range and high powered. There are no sniper rifles and the such. I understand there may be plenty but they are just machine guns and much to that effect.

Well, according to my Gamepro, it was Tigon Games. :p

Okay, I read it wrong.
Tigon Games dual published it.
Not developed.
:p Publishing it won't get them any credit. If Tigon Games developed this as their first major title, I would kill myself. That would mean they wouldn't fail, and that seemed to be their first goal after making it.

Yeah, I thought they were a game developer.
That is why I got confused.
No big deal. I hate Vin Diesel by the way.

I hate him as an actor.
He is probably a cool guy in real life to want a video game company.
I wish him luck because alot of those up and coming companies will sometimes put out jewels.
He used to be a real nerd before he went into acting. He said he played D&D like every day.

I can't figure out how to do the left trigger sneak/stealth kill from behind. I always just grab onto the dude and he struggles a bit then breaks free? Wtf am I supposed to do

After you grab him keep on hitting X and you will eventually snap his neck. At least thats one way to do it. There are two different ways to snap there necks but that is the only one I have ever done.
