The fact that reggie didnt propose with a little ring that looks like a 24/7 title upsets me.

I really hope now that Bron Brekker is supposedly gonna be on the main roster that they change his name again....and do it as part of a segment with his dad and uncle this weekend. They need to acknowledge that he's a Steiner.

Ricochet is still jobbing as the Intercontinental Champion.

GD

I am yet to acclimate to the fake crowd reaction.

GD
03-28-2022, 10:05 PM
Belair’s promo was rather tame for a go home show.

GD
03-28-2022, 10:08 PM
lol how am I suppose to get behind Belair after what she did?

GD
03-28-2022, 10:09 PM

The sword gimmick has greatly affected McIntyre's perception.

slik
03-28-2022, 10:24 PM
Guessing via classic wwe booking of person in control at go home loses at WM:

Becky beats Bianca
Miz/Logan beat Mysterios
Drew beats Corbin

also LOL @ bringing Ricochet to RAW to do a clean job...WWE does not care about the US/IC titles at all...

The sword gimmick has greatly affected McIntyre's perception.

Agreed, he probably sells more action figures with the sword, but he is like Hacksaw with the 2x4. That much focus on an inanimate object makes him just the guy with the sword. It takes away any real layers to his character.

GD
03-28-2022, 10:30 PM
Holy shit @ the reaction Boogs got.

GD

Having the sword getting "stolen" for the millionth time doesn't help either. McIntyre deserves better.

and that's not a joke. David shoulda never sniffed the WCW World Champ but his documentary coulda worked here as a redemption thing.....

Holy shit this sounded like an atrocious go-home show.

Evil Vito

This reads like the actual "go-home" show for the entire PPV and Friday will just be unbooked WM talents competing (IC title triple threat, Andre Battle Royal) and otherwise it'll just be promos and videos.

Basically a throwaway SmackDown for the live audience who are really just there to watch the Hall of Fame after.

I really hate the "WrestleMania RAW", "WrestleMania SmackDown", "WrestleMania BACKLASH" branding.

Good lord...... not even 2 pages for a go-home RAW.

I have absolutely zero interest this year. In every year past, despite not watching weekly, there would be one or two matches I felt like I didn't "wanna miss".

This feels like any other monthly ppv. The only difference will be the HUGE set..... maybe.

Evil Vito
03-29-2022, 01:34 PM
Yeah. I'll watch it because it's free and probably enjoyable enough as a standalone show, but I don't actually care or have any investment in what happens on the show.

Been the story of all the Peacock PPVs really. Fine to give me something to watch for a couple of hours but I never come away from them thinking "I gotta tune in Monday to see how they follow this up"

But Brock vs Roman (for the 3rd time at WM) is THE BIGGEST WRESTLEMANIA MATCH OF ALL-TIME

I wonder if this is the first WM where both the US and IC titles are not defended since both existed at the same time?

It being their third match against each other is actually one of the positives to making that claim.

He didn't even last two minutes.

Since Nerfect doesn't watch professional wrestling anymore, I don't believe he recalls how terrible their second match was.

I remember back in the day that usually one of the midcard champs, maybe both, were in the Money in the Bank match. So I bet it’s happened before.
