I prefer he not win. It’ll be better used as an accolade for an actual singles guy they’re pushing. If Dax wins it would stand to reason that he would have to have a singles run (even if he’s just splitting his time 50/50).There will be a time for that but FTR is just now finally becoming the top team in the company and I think that’s where the focus should be. Let them run the tag division for a year or two before they start doing singles stuff to keep the team from getting overexposed.

It's the podcast culture that's changed his commentary. He keeps that similar vibe at times that he has on his podcast. When is actually inspired by a match or story he's invaluable and still the best, but it's not very consistent!
