Vince McMahon is not Donald Trump or Elon Musk. He’d like to be, but he’s still a carny promoter to most people. He’s survived so long because wrestling is beneath people’s notice. The sleazy perception of it cloaked him. If they want to be squeaky clean and viable, they can’t just sweep this under the rug.

I mean, it doesn’t seem like the biggest issue in all of this, but even stuff like Vince making out with the women on screen in 2000-2005 or whenever is going to take on a new disturbing meaning to people. Tasteless as it was at the time. Everyone probably should have realized the guy was too powerful to be doing that to women who just wanted to be, essentially, actresses.

Even if things weren't out in the open, the signs (intentional or not,) that Vince was someone who would likely at least try and use his power and money for sex were about as subtle as a chainsaw.

At some point though, no matter how obvious the signs or hints were, it becomes too much. Even more so for a company that wants to be seen as squeaky clean as possible currently and going forward, especially if angling for a potential sale. Realistically, I don't see how this isn't or won't be the ultimate breaking point for Vince, regardless of whether or not everyone involved has realized or admitted it to themselves yet.
