Alright, I'm ready. I was in the midst of last-minute data gathering in order to find all the necessary things that would help determine the tie breakers for the list. It was a bit tedious but I plowed right through it and managed to snag it all. I knew having an option for having not played the game would come in handy eventually. There you have it. Sorry if any of your favorite games ended up lower in the rankings after all of that. Shenmue doesn't fare too well itself, ending up at number 99 with its solid 3.0 average.

Now onto the rest of the show. We kick off the month of July with Rate the Game, Master Chief Edition! That is, it's the 117th week if you don't get it. Ahem...well, let's get to it then. Come on down, you bowl!

Well, puff my jigglies, we didn't step away from Nintendo for too long. This week, we take a gander at one of the earliest entries from Nintendo's lovable ball of pink goodness. It's Kirby's Adventure on the Nintendo Entertainment System. No, this wasn't Kirby's first outing but maybe it was his best? Or his worst? Who can say for sure? You all can! Let's do this rating thing and show Kirby what we think of this particular outing. 8 games to go! Until next week!

I actually started this one on the Switch a while back and am in the middle of it. I think it's the third area where I left off. For an NES title, it's one of the better-looking games on the console. It's colorful, you can make things out fairly clearly, and the animations for Kirby are pretty good. Throw in cutesy music and solid control and you've got a fun little entry. It's probably TOO cutesy and its easier difficulty compared to other NES games might work against it. It's still worth a look, I say.
