Whether it's Corey Graves, Bad News Barrett on NXT, Tony Schiavone anytime Britt Baker is around on AEW. Jerry Lawler did this for an untold number of years too. It's a tired act, it's been tired for 20 years.
What other wrestling shit is bothering y'all right now?

Jerry Lawler was genuinely entertaining when he did it.
Everyone else is awful.

It’s a pretty old trope but Lawler was the last one to do it in an entertaining fashion.
Like a lot of things in wrestling now, it’s been copied by people who get the very basic idea but have no understanding of what actually made it work.

Lawler was entertaining at first, but eventually we all got sick of "PUPPIES" at some point.

The recaps are beginning to get to 90 Day Fiancee levels where they show the same 5 second clip every 60 seconds, but with replays instead. Mad annoying.

WWE: Camera cuts and the weird zooms. The inorganic verbiage. They’re clearly not looking to wow anybody with their booking. It’s designed to be pretty evergreen, but it’s going to make a long period of their history pretty unremarkable in an age where even classic content is as contemporaneously accessible.
AEW: Insulting the audience by pretending what they are doing is anything close to what people genuinely miss about wrestling when it was good. It’s easily the most pretentious wrestling product that has ever existed. No psychology in matches, horrible storytelling.
