Damned if the WWE is going to stop posting photos... so hey, I'll take it upon myself to do so... Maineline prob is I'm gonna need a little bit of help.
My little sister records Raw and SmackDown every week. She's a huge fan *coughmarkcough* who can't stay up late enough to watch all of it. I need to McGyver up a way to convert the VHS footage to some from on my comp to a pic. I have a crappy web cam, a decent digital camera, and a scanner. Now, people throw ideas out at Always450.

Play the tape, pause it at a part you think would make a good caption (or entirely at random), and take the picture with your digital camera. The picture won't be as good of a quality as the stuff we're used to, but fuzzy captions are better than no captions at all, right?

I was actualy about to make a thread like this. I wonder if WWE has decided to stop making photos.

I have the converter to play tv images on your comp... What you need is the S/PDIF digital audio connector/composite video connector and the s video connector. I need to get the S video connector again. Next time i Go to radio shack or something ill pick it up and post captions.

So you're saying they hate our troops?

Our troops like captions! When my bro's home (he's airforce, currently overseas) he spends a good ammount of time looking at the captions ever since he saw me work on them.

Yeah, I entertain veterans at the local old folks home by printing out the captions full size, and acting them out.

You shoulda heard the reaction to the "Wailing like a banshee" one. :D

I seriously had my sister convinced that Sean O'Haire lives in a cage above the ring, which makes me wonder if she's just slow for a 15 year old, or just had an undying trust in her older brother :D

You could always buy a TV tuner for your computer. I got one at OfficeMax (or Staples. One of those office superstores) that just plugs into my USB port. I just run the coax cable into one end of it, plug it into my computer, and I can record TV onto my hard-drive. I can also freeze-frame, too.

Of course, the computer that I have that running to doesn't have Internet, so I can't upload the pics myself. :(

Well this is quite a disappointment since the reason that I started visiting tpww as a guest was mainly to look at all of the captions. Now I finally get a chance to do some after signing up, and they don't have any the past few weeks! I hope this was just a rare occurrence and captions will come back soon!
