I voted for you because you are the only one who asked, and because IF you are so desperate for "acclaim", well why not? King of the Forum means nothing to me, but good for you!

Holy shit, I knew #fan was after approval, but he actually asked? Now he’s mocking you for taking pity on him? Woof.

Mox vs. Roosh was awesome. I would really love to see Mox vs. Penta as well. I love that Mox comes out once a week and puts on a kick ass match, no matter who he's facing, and puts the belt on the line. Mox vs. Jericho gonna be great promos as the cherry on top. Or maybe Anna JAS is the cherry. :shifty:

So anyway, HOOK

Haven’t seen enough of the guy. He was kind of “eh” when I saw him, from memory. Definitely a project, but the hype around him is kind of off-putting.

I don’t have faith in AEW to develop its younger talent. And the hype around Hook is probably going to lead to disappointment if he can’t deliver in a big way.

I still like my idea of Hobbs being the one to beat Punk for the AEW Title had the dickhead not injured himself doing something stupid. Starks could have been side-eyeing him while having a reputable career of his own.

This is also how many tag team/faction splits in how many weeks? The Gunn Club and Acclaimed split, Christian turned on Jungle Boy. I’m probably missing 3 or 4 more.

Team Taz EXPLODES! HOOK with the FTW belt is an obvious natural fit. Starks has all the tools and the sky is the absolute limit, face or heel. Murderhouse Hobbs gonna be awesome. Can he and Keith Lee get a Best of 5 series?

His matches are so good, but I could happily go a week without seeing him bleed at this point.

Let’s start with this first little part. Wondering how much I have to break this down to make up for your unbelievably terrible reading comprehension. Do you understand the words in this sentence? Do you realize this is not the same as calling you out for speaking in multiple threads? Lol

IT'S NOT THE SAME THING WAAAAAAAAHHHH!!!!

By the way “No, I don’t understand” would have sufficed.

A couple of thoughts:

1. They literally ran through about 4 months of programming in one and a half segments on Ricky Starks. Booker of the Year.

2. They did both Rosa and Miyu a disservice in booking that match. Because this was her first match in the US, in front of likely the biggest crowd she has ever been in front of, against the AEW Champion. The nerves were clearly in overdrive. Then, instead of saying "You got this, you are in this position for a reason," Kenny Omega decided to insult the fans who may not have known who she was, because you know, Tony Khan only cares about maybe getting to see some bare shoulder from Britt Baker instead of actually booking a competent Women's Division. So, she is nervous, botches on the apron, and just loses all confidence.

Best of all, much of the heat will be taken by Thunder Rosa. Because, you know, Tony doesn't give a shit and Britt weaponizes that fact and the fact that Tony wants to touch her boob to her own benefit.

To keep this wrestling related, has there ever been a main eventer who turned around into the ultimate jobber as fast as Fan has these last few months? Starting to wonder if he couldn't handle the pressure at the top and is doing this on purpose to get himself back down to a level he's more accustomed to. Mad embarrassing.

Yeah, Miyu is actually a very good talent from what I've seen of her. Better than most of the joshi talent AEW brings in. Just had a bad night.

I think them adding another set of titles might be where I bow out you know. I’m just losing all interest when every other person has a title.

Mox is so good. Rush was good too.
Starks and Hobbs stuff was good. Danhausen isn’t really funny to me and the Hook stuff is fine but meh at a title change for a title that isn’t really real. Feels weird them being on dynamite and not tucked away on rampage.
Skipped Sammy Guevara
Jungle boy gave a good promo
Skipped womens match
Skipped jay lethal
Watched main event but Garcia is so so bland and awful on the mic. Him being in the “sports entertainer” stable i thought was just a joke as he’s clearly the complete opposite, yet they keep giving him a mic.

Danhausen is funny as a human being. Whether he fits in your wrestling is another issue. But I just need to make it clear that Danhausen is wonderful in general.

Hi there. As a pretty infrequent poster these days, my observations may be skewed, but each time I do come on I see a lot of posts where you seem really emotional and your posting is identical to that of a 14 year old girl. If you are a 14 year old girl then cool, keep going.

But if not, you might want to take a break for a bit. Just some friendly advice.

If I were running shit, I wouldn’t put him on to get his ass kicked just because people love him and I wouldn’t have him winning wrestling matches unless it’s a one-time goof that pushes another story but I’d definitely pay him a nice little salary and use him mostly online and as a fun-loving goof in some realistic comedy situations.

(That post was about Danhausen. Not Xrod. Bad timing. Need to clarify.)

I dunno, I’ve not seen anything about him other than what AEW have presented so maybe I’m just missing some context, but I don’t really get it and they haven’t explained anything about him.

He’s basically a shit wrestler who comically thinks he’s evil but is actually a really nice guy, which just adds to his shitness so he just loses all the time?

Nothing against comedy gimmicks at all, i just don’t really get him.

I think they’ve used Danhausen almost perfectly. I feared they were going to book him like orange Cassidy but they’ve gone the other direction. He can beat up guys like Mark Sterling but against real wrestlers he gets his ass kicked even though he tries. It’s fine and he isn’t wrestling often enough for it to really matter, and he’s entertaining most of the time. He’s been a pleasant surprise for me.

Danhausen is just an excellent person in general and I love him. He can lose every match ever and I will still be a huge mark for him.

Although if TK ever gets so high he books a comedy character to win a major title it better be Danhausen. Maybe not the big one, but a one off TNT title run one day maybe. The story is there: have his curse suddenly start destroying people and even Danhausen doesn't know why but he goes with it lol. Can turn out that someone was paying people to job to the curse to get Danhausen up in the ranks and in line for a title so they can then take him out for an easy win afterwards.

Finish the feud with a BATTLE IN THE BLIMPHAUSEN match where they rassle in a blimp cabin while it flies above the Jaguars stadium.
