Quarterfinals is here! First, let me introduce the undercard for this round.

Mulkeys vs Galaxians
Megabucks vs Masters of the Powerbomb
Furnas and Lafon vs Wild Bunch
Lucha Brothers vs Mil Mascaras and Dos Caras

And that brings us to the Quarterfinals proper...

FTR vs British Bulldogs
Road Warriors vs Megapowers
Hardys vs Steiners
Dudleyz vs Hart Foundation

Let's see what we got.

I am moving some things to my phone, in case my internet at home is down by Rounds end.

FTR vs British Bulldogs: Going with FTR cause they are so great together, and I think have had more years together in which to really make an impact.

Road Warriors vs Megapowers: Road Warriors/Legion of Doom.... just so cool.

Hardys vs Steiners: Steiners easily.

Dudleyz vs Hart Foundation: Going with the Dudleyz. Could easily go for a Dudleyz/Steiners final. Or Road Warriors instead of either one... dunno who my money is on....

FTR
Road Warriors
Steiners
Hart Foundation

Pretty easy decisions for me in a quarter final.

FTR are a fine team, but against The British Bulldogs? Come on. The influence and impact of The Bulldogs is still being felt today. This is a case where it’s okay to be biased towards the era, since they were a top team when this shit mattered more…because they helped make it matter more.

It is time for the Mega Powers to stop dining out on its two stars’ names and go down to a real tag team. And a real draw for a tag team too.

The Hardys aren’t that good. That they’ve made it so far is luck of the draw. The Steiners’ work as a team holds up way more. They’re just better.

The Dudleys have never done it for me. They would get stale so fast. There isn’t exactly a long list of good, let alone great, Dudley Boyz matches. They’re going against The Hart Foundation? Yeah, this is a no-brainer.

In case you saw the name "Wild Bunch" and went who?

I heard Black was a pain in the ass, else they would have been a bigger deal stateside. Also, is this the first time Kobashi was shown in the US?

Mr. Nerfect and DAMN iNATOR would have voted Mulkey if they ever joined the watch along.

Loving The Mulkeys is the easiest thing in the world once you have seen them with a gang of hardened jobber lovers.
It’s a stock raiser for sure.

I voted against The Steiners and Hart Foundation because they were put up against the two greatest tag teams besides Edge and Christian.

Noid just hates The Hardyz because they were involved in creating the Young Bucks which is a damn fine reason to hate them.

But Matt is a great guy. Still have the fond memories of serving him Cheesecake pancakes.

Road Warriors were kind of like Ric Flair to me as a kid. I never understood the hype because even though I had been watching the wrestling since 87, the first time seeing either of those two was in the WWF and I was like "oh ok" especially for Ric Flair.

The Hart Foundation were my team so I wasn't a big Warriors fan when they were in the WWF.

And I LOVED the Natural Disasters.

Ha, nah, the Broken Matt stuff did it for me. Made me retroactively realize I was giving the guy way more grace than he deserved. I was a big supporter once upon a time. Liked him more than Jeff. Then I realized Jeff was the star and saw value in him right up until he did what he did in WWE to go to AEW.

But yes, fuck the Bucks.

The Road Warriors have never been “my team,” but I appreciate their place in history.

Damn.... one of my picks out of it.... hoping for a Steiners/Road Warriors final then.... hope they don't meet in the semis.... if they do, whoever wins that match wins the whole shebang.

Road Warriors were great but Steiners all the way between the two.

A very worthy final four. Impressed FTR made it as far as they did. Good for them. The Midnight Express should still be in this.

That’s probably my four favourite teams of all time as a final 4. Great tourney and good fun to see it all play out.

The Steiners are good and fun to watch, but I just…don’t rate them. It’s hard to explain. It could be personal biases because I first saw Rick when he sucked and Scott was not much better. They just don’t vibe with me.
