View Full Version : MCU observation's/ predictions
1) Jessica Jones makes an appearance in She-Hulk.
We know Daredevil will be in She-Hulk. Jessica Jones is a super hero/detective. It makes a lot of sense.
2) Marvel announced that the Daredevil series will be 18 episodes. I thought this seemed long.
But what if Marvel wanted to bring The Punisher into the MCU without having to give him a series on Disney because of how R rated he can be. So they bring The Punisher back for a 4 to 6 episode arc, in the Daredevil 18 episode season.
I can't figure out how they'll for Iron Fist and Luke Cage in, but the fact that the Daredevil series is so long, makes me think they will use it to introduce all of these characters.

Could these all end up being shorter episodes to fit in ads?

Since this is about observations or whatever... I wish they'd just recast people now instead of building up all these "younger/fake" versions. When we get Avengers movies, I want to see Iron Man, not War Machine. I wanna see Captain America, not Falcon pretending to be Captain America. I wanna see Hawkeye, not Echo or whatever his protege will be called.
Just seems all watered down going forward, and what happens when those "younger" cast get older in ten/fifteen years time? Instead of killing of Tony Stark, sending Steve Rogers to the past etc, I think now I'd rather just see them recast.
I know it's blasphemy to think anyone other than RDJ could be Tony Stark, but fuck it. They've been recasting James Bond for 50 years and it hasn't made any drastic difference to anything.
Aw well, too late now. Not long until they have "multiverse" versions of Tony Stark and whatever else they can think of.

Random observation: The five year jump with only half the population on the planet should kind of have been a bigger thing. I know that they just wrote themselves into a corner and just want to ignore it and pretend that everything is just back to normal...
But pretty "weird" that only Falcon and Winter Soldier has actually treated it as a major event with major implications for the world. Everywhere else it has just been like a throwaway joke.
There would have been severe and lasting social, cultural, economic, and environmental impacts during those five years, and the return of half the population would have been just chaos that would take years to sort out after probably a lot of death and war. Again, I understand completely why they have to downplay that and just present everything as normal again... it is just a weird place to be.

There should be an everyday conspiracy theorist character that never shuts up about it across all MCU media

Definitely
But I get why they didn't do it. Not saying it can't be done, but it was always going to be more difficult and riskier to try and get general movie going audience to buy into that, and also would have required introducing greater cosmic powers before they may have wanted to.
And keeping in mind this was the culmination of 10 years and over 20 movies, I don't blame them too much for playing it safe.
Would have been more interesting to see though, for sure.

Read Thanos quest, followed by Infinty Gauntlet. Thanos Rising is also very good.
