I hope they’ve worked something out with Trish Stratus. Special guest ref at Clash at the Castle, Bayley opponent at Crown Jewel/Survivor Series, Rumble appearance, Mania, etc.
She argued with Bayley and it led to Bayley facing Aliyah in a 15 minute match later in the show
RAW results for the first two hours, much longer matches trend continues:
* Riddle/Seth brawl backstage into the crowd
* Trish Stratus cuts a promo before being interupted by Bayley
1. Kai/Sky defeat Alexa/Asuka via rollup

She is awful and has been for years. I don’t think I’ve ever seen anyone show so like progress in there abilities. It must really sting for some of the women that are not being used or were let go to see Aliyah on TV. It’s not like she’s charismatic but lacks in the ring, or vice versa. She’s just flat awful.

Good for Johnny. Guy had great timing with having a kid. Supposedly he’s been very careful with his money throughout his career, so he had no great rush to return and he ended up getting to wait it out for the right situation. Once Hunter got the book it seemed like a formality. Hope he kills it on the main roster.

Breaking News: Lock Jaw was originally backstage and supposed to make a return as the Anonymous General Manager of RAW, but apparently WALKED OUT, leaving the writers to scramble rewriting the show last minute.

When Cornette used to review NXT I remember a running joke was that someone would get kidnapped seemingly every week. And not by just one guy with a “kidnapping” gimmick but it was just an odd booking crutch. Lol
Apparently they brought it to the main roster now.
The Kidnapping gimmick was a TNA staple. Think it got released before making a big splash in NXT. Good to see finally making the big stage.
They’re building a very good US Title division here. I expected Ciampa to beat Lashley for the belt allowing Bobby to move on to something more “main event” and for Gargano to debut to pick things back up with Ciampa. Glad they’ve take Gargano in a different direction for now, and a natural one if you’re familiar with his history with Theory. I’d expect a (2nd) main roster run from DIY at some point in the future.
Lashley, Ciampa, Gargano, Theory, Ziggler, Miz, Lumis, Styles, Riddle is a nice little upper midcard.
DIY, Alpha Academy, Street Profits, RK-Bro (if they want to revisit that), Mysterios, Legado Del Fantasma (if they come up) is a great foundation for a tag division too.

I don’t know what it is, but I’m not really feeling that Raw singles side. Agree with the tag side though. I wish there was some sort of journey to Gargano and Ciampa getting back together. I always thought a feud between Miz and Gargano would make sense thematically — Gargano being “Johnny Wrestling” and Miz being “Mr. Sports Entertainment.” You could Booker T/Goldust Ciampa and Gargano. I guess they could also just be Miz lackeys, but that also doesn’t feel right.
Gargano being one of Logan Paul’s kayfabe trainers makes sense. Hell, I could go down for a Styles/Gargano team for a tiny bit.
