We're told the incident happened backstage at an AEW Dynamite show in Washington D.C. Wednesday night.

Sources tell us words were exchanged, and then things turned physical. Sammy allegedly pushed Andrade, and punches were thrown, according to our sources.

It's unclear if anyone was hit.

We're told the dust-up was not part of an AEW storyline.

I dunno how the commercials work in differing markets or if we all see mostly the same ones, but it seems strange that they've aired a couple commercials specifically about Andrade vs Vance during this dynamite after it was publicly announced the match was off. They have other AEW ads they could have just swapped out quickly.
