I was cynical about the changes, but I’d like to think that these teams have been picked for reasons. They can do dark test runs for these teams. If Cole and Barrett were absolutely awful together I’d be genuinely surprised that it got to that stage.

Kevin Patrick and Corey Graves will probably be “good” too. I’m more skeptical of Vic Joseph and Booker T. I can see that being more of Booker adding a splash to Vic basically running things himself, maybe as further practice for Booker, but I can see him being “in and out,” especially if Pat McAfee wants to come back to commentary and/or Cormier joins and they need to move Barrett back or whatever.

I was watching a clip from the women’s tag. It’s been a couple of weeks since I’ve watched the SD women’s div, but that was pretty bad. I want to like the idea of Roxanne Perez, but she was way overblown by positive reports. Her stuff looked soft and clunky. Her facial expressions were pretty melodramatic and she did the thing where she looked confused after someone kicked out of what is now a standard move. At one point she begged the crowd to get into it. A lot of things that are flags to me. She’s so young and she’ll hopefully get better.

A lot of faces need to work on their fire too. Raquel could have fallen asleep during her comeback, I swear.

Trios match had Brian Cage, Johnny "Caballero" Morrison, Psycho Clown, Bandido and Laredo Kid. Lots of flippy shit, including Cahe monkey flipping Laredo from the ring to the floor to be caught by the other 4 guys. Cage and Morrison have a rudo American gimmick that has Morrison riding down to the ring on a stuffed horse (think Chavo and Pepe) decked out in stars and stripes :lol: Rudos won by being cheating ass Americans and hitting their opponents with Pepe.

Just watched the Bray Wyatt promo. Proving himself capable of a genuinely emotional, great babyface promo and immediately tanking it with spooky bullshit, incredible.

Holy fuck, I just checked out Fatu’s Wiki page. His age has never been on there, but because he has 6 kids I assumed he was maybe older than you’d expect and he just didn’t get noticed for years. The guy’s only 30.
