Elias is confused and asks if it’s Ezekiel and then Bray Wyatt comes out and kills him. Has a show-long mystery that ties everything together.

When I say it’s not for me, I just mean care factor. I can intellectually appreciate how Liv’s grown into the role and is actually a surprisingly complex character and this has helped Ronda shine in certain ways.

If they do a best of 7 and let Sheamus win 2 but let Gunther go over and get 4, or even like a 4-1 finish to show that anyone can win any night, but establish that Gunther is the bee's knees right now.

There’s definitely some stuff there that I’m sure he’d have not suggested (the red light on the Cell match, the hammer spot in the Cell, come to mind immediately). I wonder where he’d have fallen with the title win? Creatively it’s a zero sum decision, and he ended up being killed by Goldberg BUT it’s a world title win in WWE and not everyone can say that.

My reading, of the return was it was Bray breaking out of the Funhouse that he’d been trapped in by The Fiend/Mr Rogers Bray. A sort of reset but I’m hoping to see another evolution of the character.

Let's bring it back for a second. While I have no doubt that Bray was able to bring some of his ideas into the fold last time around, the last 6-8 months of the Fiend character REEKED of McMahon's opinion and formation of the storyline.

Do you think Vince put together all the elements of the Firefly Funhouse and The Fiend? That seems naive. What about that cinematic shitshow with John Cena? Bray could have very possibly wanted to go even more into the realm of stupid with Vince reeling him in.

It’s very possible Vince was just a scapegoat in the sheets of Bray’s bad ideas. If it works, it’s yay Bray. If it doesn’t? Boo! Blame Vince.

AEW is proof of what happens when you give wrestlers too much creative freedom. There’s no guarantee at all that Bray Wyatt’s creative for himself isn’t even more ridiculous than Vince’s, who had his entire product in mind.

We’ll see, but the only good Brays were developmental Bray and Wyatt Family Bray, but even that got tired.

Depends who we’re talking. Did the original Family get Rowan or Braun to the next level?

Rumours of Lumis, Bo Dallas, Rowan returning, Corbin, etc. They’d make a good carnival/creepshow type thing, but these aren’t talents you really even want to catapult.

There’s also factions everywhere you look at the moment - something AEW gets criticised for.

It also puts him/them in The Bloodline’s orbit and that would be another booking into a corner situation if you want to keep the best thing in wrestling going.
