For those who have asked, The Adam Page KO finish vs. AEW Champion Jon Moxley on Dynamite appears to have been a legitimate medical issue.
One source believes he may have suffered a concussion, but we don't have that 100% confirmed.
Page is getting checked out backstage by medical staff.

Damn. Just saw the clip. Got Sabu vibes on that landing. Hopefully it’s not that bad.
And from a simple clothesline of all things.

It looks like his forehead hit first, hopefully just a bad stinger. If that was not a work that ref did a great job identifying that quickly and not letting them roll Page around.

The proof that the loudest voice will always get a platform. Literally every week people are talking about his latest takes on modern wrestling and, shock of shocks, he hates everything!
Stick to classic wrestling stories.
That's cyclical, though. Nobody wants to talk about it when he actually likes something, but are quick to send him vids and questions about shit they're sure he'll hate just to hear him get angry about it. Then, people insist that surely he'll have an aneurysm the next time Omega appears on TV. Even if the stars align and hell freezes over and AEW books a "nearly flawless" show that the man wouldn't be able to stop blowing, even their own fans will point to the ONE PART where Orange Cassidy showed up and shin kicks somebody and bitch about Cornette disliking that one note joke instead of everything else he would hypothetically congratulate.
Example: The Acclaimed won the guy over. They went from "meh" to "they got potential" to him actually being a fan. He actually got into the habit of writing down Max Castor's entrance rap a good number of weeks so that he can repeat it (because, again, he enjoyed the promo). Nobody ever mentions that shit, though. But what the first thing you guys point to? "Uh oh, Jim isn't going to like Riho being on TV."
Point is, folks are laser focused for the "yelling at clouds" reaction: even people who claim they hate it.

These untrained guys hurting each other again on AEW. You can tell who needs to go through the Performance Centre. Twice in some cases.

I'm hoping Hangman isn't too hurt. Maybe a concussion or whiplash and not something more serious like a broken neck. Did he ever start moving when they were taking him out of the arena?

It feels messed up to say I hope it’s “just a concussion” but when the alternative is a broken neck or something it’s hard not to. Hang in there, Hanger.

Much of this. Cornette is great, he just says some shit that doesn't fly today and you're like "oh lord, Jim. Don't say that." But besides that, I'll take him over most wrestling podcasters. He's actually at his best when he's complimenting stuff, talking about wrestling history, and NOT yelling at the clouds. But his fans pop big for his crankiness--and some of it can be funny (lol he has like 7 nicknames for Omega and all of them eventually make you laugh). Plus, in fairness, AEW gives him plenty to shit on.
Cornette's best digested in his clips, though. Then you can pick and choose. I don't need to listen to him complain about a hardcore match because I know what he's going to say and I already agree wit him for the most part.

I'm glad they've learned from it because concussions aren't something to just fuck around with.

I generally love his criticisms, but I do have to say that they get repetitive because the product doesn’t get any better. When he just sort of sighs and says “whatever, it’s all the same thing all the time” and skips it, I feel him. Still one of the most insightful minds out there on wrestling though. And genuinely entertaining. As a one man show he’s almost doing better than Dynamite.

I really enjoyed Dynamite this week. Nothing seemed skippable. MJF had a nuclear bomb of a promo. Prognosis on Hangman sounding better today. Seemed incredibly bleak last night. Love Hangman. Hope we can see him back FULL GEAR before long

You gotta love the stubborness of the duginners, still flying that AEW Flag like Tiny Khan hasn't Coked away any chance the company had at being something more than a glorified circle jerk with a few flashes of something decent by accident every now and then.
It is ok to admit it to yourself, come back to the good guys side. Papa H will welcome you back with open arms.

Maybe Stardom a little bit, just because they bust their ass and its cool seeing them expand and gain veiwers but thats more of an underdog story thing than brand loyalty.

I <3 you too.
I know I shit talk AEW a lot lately but it's because they can do so much better. Feels like this whole summer has been mostly a downwards slide for them and it sucks. Between drama and injuries it has been a mess lately.
And I really want them to stop signing guys and not using them. They pick up all these talents that they need to be giving spots to and then they just pull the rug out a few weeks later for the newest flavor of the month. I know they said they wouldn't do it, but they need to start doing some cuts and trimming the roster back and get refocused.
