I like Wade Barrett

I guess he’s probably done with wrestling, but I think Wade Barrett would be exceptionally good as the commentator that has Cena Nuff and takes off the headset to be a moral warrior at some point.

We never got Babyface Barrett, did we?

Looks like we’ll be getting Drew vs. Kross in a Steel Cage, Braun vs. Omos and maybe The Brawling Brutes vs. The Bloodline for Crown Jewel. I hope they make the matches shorter and put more on there since the Saudi performances seem more taxing.

I would love this. I remember being super pumped for his return where he looked like he was going to be Bareknuckle Barrett, or whatever.


He has a good look, and was great with his villainous demeanor. When he did his thing with Nexus, it was great.

Kross is still a bitch. Nothing about him seems "good" outside of his entrance theme - and it's mid.


Brawling Brutes v Bloodline would be better in a cage, tbh. Have the Uso's go back once to their "high flying" days and come off the cage for a spot or two. They're so damn good, it's too bad they are foreshadowing their split over Sami.


Hopefully this is the return where Braun demolishes Omos. Outside of size, Omos is not impressive in any capacity. More "get these hands" and less "choo choo express".

Kross isn’t very good. At some point you need to ease up on him. I think the best way for the cage match to go is Kross enters, Drew comes out second. Scarlett pulls at Drew’s leg as he is getting in and Kross jumps him. Kross dominates and looks to climb out but Drew provokes him into staying and fighting. Drew makes a comeback but Scarlett slams the door on his head as it looks like he is about to win. A babyface woman runs down and cat fights with Scarlett on the outside. Kross looks to finish Drew and Drew makes a comeback and looks to climb over. Kross goes for the door himself but the face woman kicks it into his head and Drew drops down.

You can spin the feud forward a little more into a mixed tag and maybe one final blow-off and not completely bury Kross.

Braun and Omos is pure spectacle. I think Braun has the better chance of winning. Eh. It’s just going to be what it’s going to be. Maybe Braun comes out with his Greatest Royal Rumble belt?

They try selling him as a "big man" and he just isn't. He needs a repackaging IMO.


His forearm to the back of neck/head looks weak, at best. I buy nothing about his presentation, as a very casual viewer. I was never exposed to any of his pre-WWE//NXT work.

Eventually they will realize that Scarlett is the only part of the act that people actually want to see.

It’s all for the best anyway. He’s one of those guys that was born to be a forever heel. I, for one, think it’s far too rare that we see any true career babyfaces or heels. Dunno if there’s ever been any career tweeners but that would be wild.
