Wardlow vs Hobbs gonna be fun
Big meaty men slapping meatDo you say this out loud?
Jeff Jarrett is an AEW exec now. I am torn. Obviously Tony needs help badly, and if you listen to Jarrett's podcast, he is a pretty cool nice guy. But we all know TNA and all the dumb ass shit that went on there so.... I'm just very confused.
You want some AEW Gold?!

Corny’s thoughts on Jarrett joining the office should be interesting.

There's never any harm in having experienced, safe and reliable older wrestlers around for younger talent to work with and learn from, and Jarrett's role in Ric Flair's last match was basically to hold the whole thing together, generate heat, and work safely enough with an old man that he didn't get hurt, and he did well enough there that I'm surprised it took him this long to get a gig out of it. If AEW want to do more celebrity appearances in matches, they can do a lot worse than having Jarrett be one of the guys on the other side of the ring to work with them.
I don't want him wrestling all the time but there's some on-screen value to using him in specific spots.

I think the value Jarrett could bring backstage definitely outweighs his on-screen value at this stage. There's a ton of ways he could contribute in the back.
He's just come off a run as manager of live events for WWE and into a similar role with AEW, so as they start increasing the number of house shows they run and regions they run in, he has the experience, the knowledge and the contacts to help that run smoothly - that was a dealbreaker for WCW turning business around, getting someone on board who actually knew the live events business.
If they're set on breaking India, Jarrett has the experience there with Ring Ka King to help them. If they want to strengthen relationships with AAA, here's Jeff Jarrett. Expand local outreach and charity programs? Jeff Jarrett. He's a fantastic backstage signing.

In fairness WWE apparently told him to get his shit together and get clean and they would be glad to give him another chance after a while. He must have some kind of potential based on that.
I wasn’t aware of that part of the story. If that’s the case, he’s immediately run to another promotion and just shrugged off that advice, which is his prerogative, but a bit of a warning sign.

There’s plenty of smart people in AEW that could have value backstage. They’ve had JR and Arn Anderson signed since the beginning. But it’s like hiring college professors to teach kindergarten.

as ron the dial celebrates his victory over the fraze he is attacked from behind by a man in a owenbrown mask
Is this a real feud?
Is this a real feud?
Yes, and should look over your shoulder because Dangerous Dave Wadding has been known to attack the unexpected backstage. Many have fallen to a WaddingBomb through a table.

Would like to think that Dave Wadding's finishing move is the "Wadd Shot", and that everytime he hits it the commentators yell "he just shot his Wadd!!!"
