So why did Adam Cole try and help MJF by attacking Jay White? Why didn’t he throw in the towel for him?

Cole wants to take the title from MJF himself. He’s softening him up. Throwing the towel in and giving the title to White doesn’t achieve his end goal.

How does this soften MJF up? I know you’re joking, but come on. If Adam Cole wanted the title, why wouldn’t he challenge MJF?

Here are some feuds for AEW:

Someone takes an AEW title belt and replaces it with chocolate.

Someone pushes someone’s grandmother down the stairs.

Punch each other’s kids.

Eat each other’s dogs.

That’s good storytelling. Don’t you get it? Adam Cole wants to make enemies with MJF. He couldn’t just walk out there and challenge him to a match. That would be stupid.

I watched The Golden Jets trying to bury Starks & Bill segment. Holy fuck was that terrible.

Kenny forgot the name of his own team. Then he brought up AEW’s inconsistent creative and tried to use that to bury Big Bill. Omega got lost several times. Jericho made some incredibly terrible jokes. You can tell the crowd is small — you can hear individual people heckling and stuff. Jericho brought up Enzo Amore. That’s smart. Wouldn’t WWE own the trademark?

Starks tried his ass off. Big Bill didn’t tank it either. But holy shit were Jericho & Omega terrible.

I can promise you the point of this Big Bill run is to prove to those in charge of WWE that he has changed.

And Starks is already one foot out of the door.

I hoped Starks was not silly enough to sign an extension when Jericho did the jobs for him. He’s got to be counting the days.

That segment was AWFUL! I checked the comments on the official channel’s video of it, and almost ALL the comments are praising Starks and calling out The Golden Jets for tanking it.

Looking at the ratings, they had a stronger lead-in than usual. Started at over 1 million. They’re down to like 890k by the next quarter. It’s like they saw Samoa Joe thought “this could be interesting” then saw Adam Page, Roderick Strong and this devil talk and tuned the fuck out.
