I don’t know when the last time I posted on here, but just came to say the Bloodline storyline has been amazing and has reenergized my interest in wrestling . The whole video package they played Money in the Bank before the tag match was really cool. It reminded me how good this whole storyline has been
You could make an argument it’s the greatest of all time !
Is this the overall opinion here as well?

it has been a good 3 years can compete with the piper hogan feuds in the 80s or andy kaufman lawler feud

Feel like the whole thing has been diluted via just deciding to make another world title, and not doing a big push to finish it at WM.
I know people like a one on one match... but at WM I would have booked Roman Reigns vs Sami Zayn vs Kevin Owens vs Jey Uso in a four way.

Has any angle or faction in the modern era been as engaging for as long as the bloodline. Im still watching every week to see what happens.
Austin vs mcmahon is the last thing I remember having this kind of longevity.

I think it’s the best written storyline they’ve ever done. Not the best booked, but the best written. I’m not watching every week. It feels like Zayn & Owens have been dropped from it. But it has been handled with about as much care as anything they’ve done in the 21st Century.

Was hoping Sami would take the title off of Roman at WM next year.

This is pretty much on the money.
It’s made Roman the star he could have been for years. It’d boosted The Usos and given Solo a platform. It made Sami the hottest act in the industry for 6 months and should have been the thing to launch Cody.
If the final chapter is to have Jey Uso be the one to dethrone Roman it’s great as a conclusion to the narrative arch but I can’t buy Jey as “The Guy”, and you’ve got to give this to someone who can be “The Guy” to make it all worthwhile.

It’s on the Money in the Bank PPV. Right before the match
However I did see last night that WWE’s YouTube page posted like a 2 hour video on the history of the Bloodline. It’s really good

I think the plan is still cody. Maybe at summerslam.
SummerSlam is 5 weeks away. They already started the build for Brock vs Cody.

They could still be planning for wrestlemania 40. Although I don't know if they can keep this going that long. Then again I never would have guessed they'd keep it going as long as they have.

Feel like they know that no one on the roster is capable of being "the guy" and didn't want to put that pressure on one man, so they just went and made another title. That way whoever beats Roman doesn't have to be "the guy", he could just be "a guy".... in which case scenario Jey Uso could now be the one who could do it.

I think they have to end the saga at Mania for sure. I'd be curious how they are going to get there though. Obviously Jey is in line because of what happened at MITB. But him winning or losing at Summerslam just wouldn't feel right either way.
I'd personally love for it to be Jey since it really started with him. and he's a much better promo then Jimmy. I'm not a big Cody fan so I'm not gushing to see him dethrone Roman. I don't know who else you can put in there though. LA Knight  I love him, but it makes no sense right now lol

I love this story. It has elevated Roman, The Usos, Solo, Sami (& by extension, Owens) so much.
I don't love the idea of Cody being the one to dethrone Roman. But that's more me not digging Cody as a main event guy than anything, I think. For the sake of the story, I think it has to be Jey Uso.
I don't know how that stretches to WrestleMania, though, when it feels like this portion of the angle will be "done" well before that.
Jey Uso Undisputed WWE Universal Champion. Makes more sense than Jinder Mahal. Least they’ve done the investment of time with Jey. But one half of the Usos as champ? I can’t buy it right now.
And yeah, how do they stretch it another 9 months?
And yes, if this were a Movie then 100% Jey beats Roman to finish the story. But it’s not.

Yeah maybe. I think we look back and lament that they didn’t strike when the iron was hot. Maybe Sami nor Cody were the “The Guy” for the long term but they were for that moment in time, like Bryan at Mania 30.

Don’t know if it ends with Jey as champ or not. I’m sure it will be fine either way. They’re in an odd spot, because it’s not like you can just run with The Usos as tag champs and it will feel anything other than a sideways step. I guess they need to go somewhere with them as separate entities. Where else is there?

Jimmy could start hyping Jey as the one. "This all started with you, Uce. Forget Cody, this is your story to finish."
The Usos aren't in the tag title picture at the moment, so I think something like that could get people on board.

Solo is also an option.

I can see Jimmy turning on Jey. But I can also see them convincing themselves that Jey is a babyface for the modern era. A large part of culture is identity, and a lot of Jey’s drama revolves around him contextualizing his identity and who he chooses to be versus who he was born to be.
After pinning Roman, it doesn’t make sense for him to not go for the title at SummerSlam. I guess we’ll see what happens there.

I could also get down with this. Didn't someone say on TV that Solo was "sent by the elders" or something? Could've been the plan from his debut.

Rikishi over Roman at WrestleMania

Would be "funny" for them to build to a match where Roman will face a member of the family, and make it seem like The Rock, but then Rikishi comes out instead.

WrestleMania 40 Rock vs Roman would be terrible... (IMO)
I figured they’d have done something with Rikishi by now like having Roman lock him in the choke. Maybe they’ve held it off until now.

Oh they’ll def do Jey vs Roman at SummerSlam. But does in main event? I guess it’d have to depending on what Rollins has going on which is likely to be a rematch with Finn, or so they do Cody/Brock as the main?

Wait til The Rock goes on record that he’s not going to be starting a new wrestling company that will take the business back to it’s peak. Man will be in shambles.

Not true. I perused the site without being signed in and saw a user I rightfully have blocked saying they were disappointed The Rock was back. Without registering who the user was, I made fun of TPWW for complaining they got The Rock. But of course The Rock wasn’t back and it was just a cunt being a cunt.

Also not true. I follow via podcasts and the like, but the last full show I watched was WrestleMania. Haven’t seen a Royal Rumble since 2020.

Anything Roman does is main eventing.
In order to get Jey ready, I think it would be cool if Roman reached across the aisle to Brock and offered to lift the ban on him challenging Roman if he can take out Jey. Have it headline a SmackDown. Cody interferes and gives Brock a whack with the cast and Jey hits the Splash for the pin. Sets up Roman/Jey and Brock/Cody nicely.
There wouldn’t have been any hint to it, but I’d do Rollins vs. Styles again, maybe with Styles putting his career on the line. Priest says he’ll be watching closely. Styles says Gallows & Anderson will be there to make sure the match goes down fair. Also at SummerSlam do either Priest or Balor and Dominik vs. Edge & Rey. Maybe throw in Beth and Rhea. The heels beat down the faces after the match and Seth runs in for the save. Edge & Rey tell him that they’re not going to help him out later, because he’s still an asshole.
AJ looks like he has Seth beat in the main event if his career is on the line. Gallows & Anderson look shocked and then help out Seth, who looks confused. Rollins retains, AJ is gone and The Judgment Day hit the ring and beat down Rollins & Styles with Gallows & Anderson joining the group. Priest cashes in and wins the title.
Rollins goes at Judgment Day alone. If Styles is gone, he keeps jumping in through the crowd and stuff whenever he gets the chance. Rollins can win a gauntlet on Raw to prove he’s changed and win Styles his job back. Survivor Series can be The Judgment Day of Finn Balor, Damien Priest, Dominik Mysterio, Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson vs. Seth Rollins, AJ Styles, Edge, Rey Mysterio & LA Knight, who helps out Seth not because he likes him, but as a favor to Becky.
Also at SummerSlam:
* LA Knight vs. Logan Paul, US Title (Knight beats Theory)
* Imperium vs. Drew McIntyre, Sami Zayn & Kevin Owens
* Asuka vs. Charlotte Flair vs. Bianca Belair, WWE Women’s Title (Iyo Sky uses her title shot to win)
* Ronda Rousey vs. Shayna Baszler
Why does Knight do a favour for Becky?
