I thought about doing a poll, but I want to leave it open to discussion.

EC3 is the current champ. He’s jacked, was TNA Champion once or twice and he’s only 40.

WWE just released a bunch of guys. Would anyone be down to see Nicky “Heel” Nemeth or Shelton J. Benjamin get the rub of being NWA Champ?

Heath Slater just got free of TNA. Could the man with hungry mouths to feed live the dream?

Serious answers only.

Ryback is not a bad choice.

I don’t think he should be NWA Champion, but Enzo Amore could drum up interest for them.

I had selfishly kinda hoped Nic Nemeth would have already been there years ago. This was when he was "on the fence" about what he should do between wrestling and his stand-up and whatever else he had going on, and WWE backed the Brinks truck up to his house to keep him jobbing for them instead of making any noise elsewhere. And, all things considered, it was the safest bet he could have made... but I thought he was a guy that Corgan would have thrust into the position that Aldis was in for the company, and he would have been able to run with it *and* garner some attention for being an notable ex-WWE guy helping pull the NWA train in a similar fashion to when Cody first departed WWE and appeared everywhere before the whole New Japan/Bullet Club/Elite thing.

There’s a chance for it to happen now.

Looks like this is going to fall through. Corgan says that have 2 potential deals in the works.

Rumor has it that they will air NWA via the CW app only

I can’t see CW taking the NWA at all now that WWE has signed there.

If the contract is signed they wont have a choice. Not enough details. The app would likely be a means to meet the contracts minimal obligations

Well if they have a prior standing agreement, sure. But I’m more inclined to believe the NWA rumors were bullshit of just a back-up plan.

Corgan claims he has two letters of intent from "top 20 stations" sp take that however you like

Yeah, that could mean CW or maybe something else. It’s possible the rumors of NWA/CW got conflated with NXT getting aboard. Or it could be total premature or even entirely fabricated bullshit from Corgan’s end. I know he’s a pain, but I’m not sure he has the reputation of being an outright liar.

NWA/Corbin wants big guys at the top. Not in name but in size. I dont think he'd push them that hard.
