Well, with the end of the last series that I did already coming to pass, I pondered over what other things we could discuss and rank and reminisce about. What should pop into my head but loads of different jingles and themes and ditties and songs from various games. Then it hit me. Let's talk music, baby! Namely, some of our favorite, and maybe not so favorite, tracks from some of the best-known games in the business.
Obviously, we'll be playing by the same rules as before in Rate the Game, with a few twists. Namely, I'm not pulling names and titles out of a container. It's just whatever comes my way in my head. How's that for commitment? Also, due to a popular critique from before, we will now rank these bad boys on a scale from 1 to 10! I mean, it's appropriate considering the whole "decibel" thing for sound, right? Also, no option for "Haven't heard it" will be provided, as I will do what I can to provide the song in question in the thread so you can hear it and judge for yourself.
Well, with that out of the way, let's begin! And what a way to begin, namely with a beginning stage theme song we should all know. Green Hill Zone from Sonic the Hedgehog! Take a listen and let's hear what you have to say. Here's to...well, the future. Who knows where this will take us?
