Good morning, everyone. I am M-A-G. I do a weekly series on these forums. My life is weird. I have chosen to spread the weirdness for this month as M-A-G Month continues for this venture. I should probably do themed months in the future. You know, find some high-quality Thanksgiving video games and drop some of their sick beats on this mo'fo'. As far as what I dropped last week, let's take a gander at how one of Silent Hill 3's tracks scores on the leaderboard....

One-Winged Angel (Final Fantasy 7) - 8.71
Aquatic Ambience (Donkey Kong Country) - 8.66
At Doom's Gate (Doom) - 8.375
Guile Stage Theme (Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo) - 8.25
Bloody Tears (Castlevania 2: Simon's Quest) - 7.85
Green Hill Zone (Sonic the Hedgehog) - 7.72
Fight Against Smithy (Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars) - 7.2
Halo (Halo: Combat Evolved) - 7.125
Spark Mandrill Stage (Mega Man X) - 7
Breeze - In Monochrome Night (Silent Hill 3) - 6.25
Big Apple, 3AM (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle: Turtles in Time) - 6.16
Still Alive (Mirror's Edge) - 5.5
The Instinct (Killer Instinct) - 5.42
Heaven (The Impossible Game) - 4.16

Oh, yeah, it's all coming together. "Breeze - In Monochrome Night" ends up charting fairly well with a 6.25 average score, enough to just barely make the top ten for now. No doubt there are some more songs in the pipeline ready to knock it off such a precarious position. We haven't had anything really challenge those top 5 slots for a while. Maybe I've got bad taste when it comes to song selection. Well, we've got two more weeks of tracks from my favorite franchises to go to prove that statement right. What's next for this week? Why, it's something a bit off the beaten path. Some of my favorite games don't involve lengthy, epic campaigns with lots of explosions and drama and deep, psychological dives into horror. Sometimes I just want to kick back with a simple party game. A party game with a twist and a sprinkle of attitude and spice. And there's one developer that seems to have had a lock on that niche for quite a while, even before they were known by their current name. Yes, before Jackbox Games, the name was Jellyvision, and they produced my favorite franchise in the trivia game market: You Don't Know Jack. Of course, there are a multitude of entries in said franchise, but they all had that party game show atmosphere, aided by some choice tunes. Namely the final round in each entry to end all final rounds. So, this week I'm pulling the music of The Jack Attack from one of my favorite titles in the series, You Don't Know Jack: Television....

There we go. As the final round of each game, the Jack Attack is meant to create a sense of uneasiness and tension, with both the format of the round and the ever-intensifying music, which differs from game to game. I will leave its level of success to be judged by you. Take a listen and drop your rating. M-A-G Month will conclude next week and I shall hope to see you all there.

This isn't even their best music, but if you like it then to each their own

Each volume has their own music for the final round, with the "themed" versions having their own motif. Like You Don't Know Jack: Movies has a horror-inspired theme for the Jack Attack. This one went with a late night talk show house band route, which is appropriate somewhat.

Trivia Murder Party has some good ones, especially the final round. The sequel has that hilarious ballad in the credits, too.
