See? I told you I'd get around to it...eventually.

Sorry for the very bad delay. The forums weren't exactly in a cooperative mood. What matter is that now I get to make things up to you. Not only am I getting around to the 30th edition, but I am getting a jump start on the 31st edition. Yes, two tracks in two separate threads, both of which will have the same deadline, which is next week, on the 17th of the month. Be sure to check out that other thread in addition to this one. That should get us back on schedule, no? Speaking of getting back, how about Cosmo Canyon from Final Fantasy 7? Let's get back to that sucker and check out where it lands on the list.

Wily Fortress 1 (Mega Man 2) - 8.75
One-Winged Angel (Final Fantasy 7) - 8.71
Aquatic Ambience (Donkey Kong Country) - 8.66
At Doom's Gate (Doom) - 8.375
Guile Stage Theme (Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo) - 8.25
Secret of the Forest (Chrono Trigger) - 8.14
Go Straight (Streets of Rage 2) - 8
Bloody Tears (Castlevania 2: Simon's Quest) - 7.85
Anything But Tangerines (Earthworm Jim 2) - 7.75
Fear Factory (Donkey Kong Country) - 7.75
Green Hill Zone (Sonic the Hedgehog) - 7.72
Rainbow Road (Mario Kart 64) - 7.71
I Sawed the Demons (Doom) - 7.33
Fight Against Smithy (Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars) - 7.2
Halo (Halo: Combat Evolved) - 7.125
Spark Mandrill Stage (Mega Man X) - 7
Act 2 Part 2 (Ninja Gaiden) - 6.66
Ozar Midrashim (Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver) - 6.6
Zangief Stage Theme (Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo) - 6.4
Breeze - In Monochrome Night (Silent Hill 3) - 6.25
Big Apple, 3AM (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle: Turtles in Time) - 6.16
> >Cosmo Canyon (Final Fantasy 7) - 6.14< <
Apocalypse Battle (X-Men Legends 2: Rise of Apocalypse) - 5.75
Still Alive (Mirror's Edge) - 5.5
The Instinct (Killer Instinct) - 5.42
Blast Man Stage (Mega Man 11) - 4.85
Heaven (The Impossible Game) - 4.16
Goro's Lair (Mortal Kombat) - 4
The Jack Attack (You Don't Know Jack: Television) - 3.57

A 6.14? I guess One-Winged Angel doesn't have much to fear when it comes to challenges.

Speaking of challenges, let's wrap up the challenge editions of this shindig with the final target. The top spot was claimed very recently by Mega Man 2's Wily Fortress 1. Does the rest of the soundtrack have better tunes? Stepping up to the plate to challenge the top spot is Quick Man Stage!

So, do we have a mega hit on our hands here? Tell us what you think, on top of checking out Week 31, and we'll [hopefully] see you next week!

I get it for the era its from, but it sounds like a cacophony of noises that at times, has a bit of harmony.

I save Time Stopper for Quick Man himself.

I would use it too early and get hit by the final beams.
