Posts nice things about RVD, how cool he is, and how much you wish he would turn heel and take the WWE Title.
Why?

Oh man, if these kind of appreciation threads pop up every other day, we might have to do 1 for Hardcore Holly in a couple of days' time!
I just wish WWE make use of RVD properly and turn him heel to go after the WWE title with Eddie and JBL.
I know I sound stupid by suggesting JBL into the title picture but imagine, 2 heels on 1 face, and then the face wins, it will surely bring LOTS of credibility to Eddie. Obviously, Eddie will drop the title to RVD a month later... and bla bla bla

Next Weeks Smackdown:
*RVD comes down to the ring for a match. However, instead of preparing for his opponent, he grabs a mic and begins to speak."
RVD: Last week, you may have noticed the RVD wasn't on the show. Well that's because one of our Road Agents are totally "un-cool". This road agent cut me from the show to make more time for Hardcore Holly and Billy Gun.
*crowd boos*
RVD: Yea, I know. But, I also noticed that the show without RVD last week really, really sucked. What does that prove...RVD is the "Whole Fucking Show!"
 :y:
RVD is well and truly the WHOLE DAMN SHOW.

RVD is the most under-utilised superstar EVER in the WWE. The guy, if pushed correctly would have been (and still could be) a box office draw for WWE. The Whole F'n Show/Mr PPV gimmick could have done great T-shirt sales and a few FCC complaints would have been nothing compared to the heat garned from a Whole Fucking-F-bomb from hitting Raw. It would have been great if they had brought in Bill Alphonso, but Paul Heyman working as his manager would be fantastic to watch as well. The guy has natural charisma that has been held back because of lines written for him by creative. Take the arrogance level up 10 notches or so and let the guy lose and guy is money - pure and simple.
Shame WWE doesn't realise it - but I'll still forever been a huge RVD mark.

Does RVD still not know what 'transitions' are or what 'pacing' means? I haven't watched for a while, so I'd just be interested to find out.

RVD.
Like Booker T, one of the misused main-event potential superstars that came in during the Invasion. It still amazes me to this day that that first year or so he was in WWE, he had full arenas chanting "R-V-D" and one would think there weren't that many ECW fans in attendance. They were louder than the "E-C-W" chants former ECW stars would get in other promotions.
I know sometimes it feels that once you've seen one RVD match you've seen them all, but the guy sells like a champ. He really makes certain moves look EH-EH when performed...just look at the "Pedigree 3" animation in Smackdown: Here Comes The Pain taken from the Elimination Chamber match of last year for an example. he and Booker T made an interesting tandem when they went for the RAW titles. And his "stoner" personality on-camera is actually one of the most hilarious things I've ever seen...never gets old to me.

Ever since No Mercy '01 RVD has been on a downward spiral. That match ruined him. It should have just been Austin V. RVD and he should have taken the title that night. I would have marked out and cried.
RVD = Only current Wrestler that draws me to buy the PPV's and watch SD!

*appreciates*
Yeah the high (no pun intended) point of RVD's WWE career was probably during the WCW invasion. He and Stone Cold were the only heels that were getting cheered. He had a 5 star ladder match with Eddie Guerrero, and I was definitely cheering for both men after they performed a high flying move. He can get back into the WWE title scene if he has a TLC match (or non-title ladder match) with someone like Eddie Guerrero or Rey Mysterio, since the fans would mark out big time for this. After being built up for a while and finally facing Eddie for the title, Paul Heyman could come out and they could screw Eddie over. This turns RVD heel using Heyman as a mouthpiece and gives RVD's character a fresh change.

Yes, that would be sweet indeed. Too bad it looks as though it will never happen. RVD was not even on Smack Down! this past week...
RVD + Heyman = Mr. JL marking out like a child on christmas day.

At Survivor Series 2001, After Austin had beat Kurt Angle and Mr.PPV in a Triple Threat Match, Jim Ross screamed "BAH GAWD! RVD WILL NEVER BE THE SAME AGAIN!"
And unfortunatly, our squinty eyed friend was right. After that, RVD lost to the likes of the Undertaker, Triple H, Brock Lesnar, and every other big name you can picture. When it looked like he had a big feud coming, his mystery stalker was.....Goldust.
It seems to me the WWE has a fixed slot where they want to put RVD, and they have no intention of moving him out of the midcard.
Hope i'm wrong.

RVD.....RVD......RVD........RVD!
He's the man!
BUT!!! could he hold the title with credibility?
I am still under the impression that Xtian prolly couldnt hold it with credibilty, and I think RVD is @ a similar level.
however, in a few months....who knows!
RVD is definitly the man, but I think he would be better at TNA as they would use him better then the WWE. I used to love RVD at ECW, he was the man, the fans loved him, he had charisma, his moves were great, and Alfonso was the man.
I wish WWE used him like ECW did.
