Impact really impressed me, so I decided to buy the pay per view this week.

The only things I noticed that annoyed me were the color commentator and the constant mentioning of the six-sided ring. Whoever that is doing color commentary is terrible and should never have a job that has anything to do with speaking. He runs out of breath in the middle of every sentence.

They're overhyping the six sided ring for no reason. We're watching the show. We see the ring. You don't have to mention the advantages and disadvantages of it in every match. It's a pay per view, so it's unlikely that you'll have viewers "just tuning in".

Other than that, the show was great. Based on what I've seen so far [the match on Impact and their match tonight], America's Most Wanted are a great tag team. Both of the matches were entertaining and I now consider myself a fan of them.

It was great to see Jerry Lynn in action again, even if he was gone for the first half of the match. That guy Heavy Metal looked really sloppy in the match, though. He fucked up nearly everything.

The 3 Live Crew match was decent. Ron Killings' match was [obviously] the best of the three. He's awesome. Jeff Jarrett is still pretty decent in the ring.

The main event was nearly thirty minutes long. It didn't seen anywhere near that long. AJ Styles hit 6 or 7 moves that made my jaw drop. Kazarian was really impressive as well. Definitely the best match I've seen this year without a shadow of a doubt.

The show was full of actual wrestling, which is much better than what WWE has to offer. No bikini contests, no pointless promos [Jarrett's opening promo was decent and actually led to something], no run-in's mid match to cause a no contest... just solid wrestling. Also, Mike Tenay puts WWE announcers to shame. He actually calls wrestling moves, and he shows concern for the match taking place instead of hyping the main event the whole show during matches.

I'll most likely buy the PPV again next week. :y:

if the WWE had Tenay instead of JR, it'd be a godsend

I agree about the commentating, it's the thing I most criticized when I ran down a couple of matches I saw. Haven't gotten into TNA much.

I also was impressed with Impact so I got the ppv. I thought that it was pretty good but I dont like how it ended.

SPOILER WARNING:::::::

I was going for Styles the whole time and when he won I was expecting my self to jump up but the way it ended was horrible. I mean if you go back and look at it you have Styles jump off the top rope for his twisting thing and clearly misses it. He goes for the pin and Kanzarian gets his shoulder up clearly before the hand reaches the ground and the ref points over for two when the bell rings. If you look at the refs face he clearly didnt know what was going on and I dont think AJ Styles did either with the look on his face.

I think IMO that TNA is a lot better than WWE right now and they have alot of those jaw dropping moments from the videos and tv stuff that I have seen. I cant wait till this goes further to see what else can happen.

Yeah, when they rang the bell they just had to go with it. The entire match was amazing, though.

If they got Paul Heyman, or someone similar, on color commentary, TNA would be the best.

The only thing I really dont like about the commentating is that they dont really talk about the match. That is the one thing I first noticed when I watched Impact. Everything was 6 sided ring this or later on tonight we will have this happening or remember last week when this guy hit that guy. There were a crap load of great moves at this time being done and they were acting like nothing was happening.

Gotta say, they did a little too much of that on Impact. I'd buy the PPVs, but I had other things to do this week, and enjoyed them more than watchign wrestling home alone.

Sounds like there was some good stuff, other than shit commentary and some minor gripes.

Some advice: Don't try to sell yourself as totally different. Don't chove the differences down our throats, let them speak for themselves. And Dammit, if you're gonna call yourself Total Nostop Action, don't bring the American Dream down to the ring on your Debut cable show.

Yea I must say that bringing Dusty down was sorta a let down. I like the guy and all but his time has passed. Shouldnt live in the old days.

Especially on your new show when you're trying to draw ratings.

I could understand jamming in a few celebrity-type wrestlers for drawing power, but Dusty's not the person to do it. I mean, if you could get someone who actually drew, someone with star power (They don't even have to be a good wrestler, just put asses in the seats), that would be a different story.

That guy on colour commentary, was he some sort of info-mercial bloke. He speaks so damn fast, sometimes he sounds so out of breath that you think he's going to die.

We're months behind in the UK. One thing that made me laugh was catching a glimpse of the ring announcer (don't know his name) cheerleading to get the crowd to make noise during a "TNA" chant.

So many talented wrestlers in TNA, it kicks ass.

I watched an episode on TWC last night and really enjoyed it! as has been said elsewhere in this thread, there was WAY more action, no stupid filler segments(Bikini contests/hour long HHH promos) and some actually quite decent wrestling.

I can really see myself getting into the TNA bandwagon
