Cena Kind irritates me.

So I dont watch WWE that much, maybe see it a couple of times a month.
But my Little brother is a big Cena fan, and is always watching his matches on video. So I see alot of him.
First things first, he doesn't even rap. He rhymes at a really slow pace. I don't consider that a rap, it's more like a poem!
Also, he's just a little overkill, he just pisses me off at how much of a little white boy that he is.
Does he need to tone down on the gimmick a little?

Also, I think Big Show as a comedic face is good, why don't the WWE use him like that? :( Remember Big show as Hogan?

Cena completely sucks. People will see it when his novelty wears off. He is going nowhere.

And yeah, Big Show is a funny guy when they let him be. But the man weighs 500 pounds, so it's arguable that better use comes out of him playing the monster type heel. However, I would like to see him in a funny role again, (one where he's not really buried mind you), or at least let him do something he wants to do. The guy has been with the company for a while and has proven to be a good asset. He is the largest wrestler I know of in the ring today.

I saw Smackdown!! tonight, an it was a good show. And the Fatal 4-way should be gret. But unfortunatly, I saw Cena when he was paired with some REAL compitition (Booker T/RVD) and I really wish I could say I was impressed.

Back to the heel Cena! Your time to shine as a good guy is wearing me out.

Vanilla I.. I mean Cena is fn' lame. If he has any chance of being a draw in the future, he needs to get his edge back. He's lost almost everything that got him over in the first place. He replaced his raps with stupid, Fresh Prince type humor. He;s over now, but like was said before, I think people will turn on him and his novelty act will wear off unless he does something quick.

Cena has always annoyed me.

I remember my mate going on about how fantastic his mic skills were, and that he was a really good wrestler, and I was just wondering how the hell he could even believe that.

THEN, I started warming to Cena slightly, I started to find him fairly funny, his matches didn't exactly suck.

BUT, about a month after I thought, actually, he's alright, they really overdid him being a face, he completely overracts, his mic skills just suck, and he hasn't improved at all in the ring.

Sucks as a face, good as a heel.

This fued with Rene Dupree isn't doing him any favours, neither is his run as the US champion, and the face turn over time has done nothing for his overness.

He needs to be booked as Duprees equal, then job to him quietly to lose the US championship. Dupree can just run around getting heel heat by boasting that an anti-American is the US champion, while Cena turns heel and fueds with Eddie.

Anything is better than the current way Smackdown is being booked at the moment.

Nah I like Cena at least he has a gimmick 75% of the wrestlers are just wrestlers. There taking the "Entertainment" part of it. Granted we have a few wrestlers (Kane, Undertaker, Eugene) that have a straight out Gimmick. Cenas white boy rap gimmick, IMO, is what is keeping him alive with the audience. Do I think his moves have gone stale? Cena is like the Rock a few signature moves, suplex,ddt clothesline. Get your ass kicked the whole match and pull a win out in the end. Honestly the only thing that keeps Rock fresh is his abilitie to keep the crowd on the mic. Its not his wrestling and I see this being the same as Cena.

We're meant to believe that a chokeslam from taker that gets show all of 3 inches off the mat is a "devestating move" and will put him down for the 3 count. Can see this happening when he returns, battle of the bigmen.

Cena is the top star in the WWE today! Plain and simple. No need to elaborate. He entertains the hell out of me, and he'll get better in the ring to. It's only the beginning for him,. He'll win the WWE title at WM 21 and win the 2005 Royal Rumble. Sky's the limit for him. He's the most over by far, and the most popular.

I see someone else recognized that Cena is being Rock-ized...a bit too quickly. I was watching some footage of Cena post the Vanilla Ice costume heel era....he was great as a heel back then. But it was inevitable people were going to like him after that...always happens. The only thing... why do they have to make his matches have the same exact pacing and spots....

also, he needs to steal Marc Mero's TKO and call it "The Real F-U" or something, if he can't straight out DVD people like he first did with the F-U.

I think this is actually part of his appeal, or at least to me. That's what made him a great heel. Somehow, somewhere, you knew a John Cena in school. There's one in every town, it seems. That's what made him so booable at first, reminded me of Seth Green's character and his crew in Can't Hardly Wait. The fans eventually started to like him, though.

agreed. he doesnt rap, he rhymes really slow, and it annoys the hell outta me too. he was a cool heel, but as a face he has become one dimensional, like all faces.

They are pushing Cena big time after he ran that gauntlet on Smackdown. And now at the GAB, he's in a fatal four way against those same three men. They are trying to push Cena the way they did with Austin, where he is having a feud with the major authority figure on Smackdown. This is normally reserved for a face WWE heavyweight champion, where the GM (or Vince) tries everything to take the title away from him. I don't think this will work with Cena, since he hasn't been around for long enough, and he isn't enough of a badass anymore. He should be doing what he wants, when he wants, and not caring (yet) what the fans think of him. They should either turn him heel, or let someone else take the U.S. title, and he could feud with higher card heels with no titles on the line, to establish himself as one of the main eventers.

Also, is it just me, or does the competition for the U.S. title seem to be much greater than for the WWE title? I would enjoy seeing RVD and Booker in the WWE title hunt, hopefully it will happen later on.

Thats called Battle Rapping...(Err Sp) Its slower paced like a conversastion, it ussally makes more Sense if he acctually had a challanger, like what they did awhile back when I belive he was still Heel, When they had him and...Angel, Spanky, Big Show, all RAP against him.
