That Harry Potter sketch was GOLD! :D
This season wasn't very good but there have been a few hidden gems in the midst of the crappiness.

lol. Fallon on Update: "Michael Jackson pleeded not guilty to charges of child molestation adding 'If I'm guilty of anything, it's loving too much...... and maybe a little child molestation'"

lol. I walked in late on that sketch and didn't know that was supposed to be Billy Joel. Pretty funny though.
I remember this Debbie Downer sketch. Hope they didn't edit it. It was hilarious.

Debbie Downer was awesome.
The Billy Joel one was fucking horrid.
Tina Fey:
"Bill Clinton's book is going to be released this week, and it reportedly is going to be 900 pages long...
...and rock hard. :naughty:"

A 600 pound man is under house arrest because he was too large to fit into a jail cell. In fact, one source inside the prison said that it took four inmates just to rape him.
 Norm.
It's so very hard to fuck up the news. It takes a supreme talent like Colin Quinn or Jimmy Fallon to do that.

LMAO at the Debbie Downer skit. I just dl'ed it. I've been watching SNL for soo long and I've never seen the cast break out laughing like that. I've seen Fallon break out a number of times, especially with Ferral, but I've never seen anything like that before. Great stuff.

Norm, Collin, Jimmy... all funny on Update. Collin NEVER fu</>cked up. He just did "smart" jokes. Some people liked it, some didn't.
And I did watch the late SNL last night too. That joke had me ROFL.
The Larry King Wedding Reception sketch was funny too.

That episode sucked....freakin' Lohan kept breaking character and laughing. Ya not supposed to do that. People like her make acting seem so easy.
And don't tell me she is only human and that we all make mistakes.....because in the old days, the SNL cast members were PROS and RARELY....if ever laughed.....and they'd quickly recovered if they did.
Oh Bill Murray, Steve Martin, Chevy Chase, and all the other SNL members before 2000....please come back!

I think it's great when the cast has trouble keeping it together like the Debbie Downer sketch... that's the whole point of SNL being live.

That's why I quit watching SNL a couple years ago, they break character too much. It just ruins the show the level of unproffessionalism in that cast.

Agreed. That's why I don't like Jimmy Fallon or Horatio Sanz. It's like their sole goal in any sketch is to bust the other up, rather than sticking to the script and entertaining the audience. As a result, they're both unfunny.
Without Tina Fey, Weekend Update would be a lost cause.

See, I'm totally different then you guys. It makes me laugh more when they break chracter. The skits have been lackluster the past years, but I laugh my ass off when they start laughing. I just find it funny. Call be an untraditionalist, but that's funny to me. Maybe it's because I can never keep a staright face even at the most serious of times/
