Took out like 10 movies from the library, all supposed to be really good. Which order would you watch them in, judging from the description and stuff:

1. Jacob's Ladder: A traumatized Vietnam war veteran finds out that his post-war life isn't what he believes it to be when he's attacked by horned creatures in the subway and his dead son comes to visit him.

2. The Exterminating Angel: After a lavish dinner party, the guests find themselves mysteriously unable to leave the room...

3. Peeping Tom: A young man murders women, using a movie camera to film their dying expressions of terror.

4. Thesis: While doing a thesis about violence, Ángela finds a snuff video where a girl is tortured until death.

5. Seven Samurai: A poor village under attack by bandits recruits seven unemployed samurai to help them defend themselves. #6 of all time on IMDb

6. M: When the police in a German city are unable to catch a child-murderer, other criminals join in the manhunt. #50 of all time on IMDb

7. The Conversation: A paranoid and personally-secretive surveillance expert has a crisis of conscience when he suspects that a couple he is spying on will be murdered. #169 of all time on IMDb

8. The Seventh Seal: A man seeks answers about life, death, and the existance of God as he plays chess against the Grim Reaper during the Black Plague. #97 of all time on IMDb

9. Together: I dunno, the IMDb plot outline is in swedish or something, but it's from the guy who made Fucking Amal and Lilja 4-ever so it has to rule.

10. Dancer in the Dark: An east European girl goes to America with her young son, expecting it to be like a Hollywood film. Supposed to be real depressing shit.

Whoa, pretty soon you are going to have seen every movie on the IMDB top 250 list. I've been wanting to see M for quite some time so I would probably choose that.

1.Conversation
2.Jacob's Ladder
3.M

Jacob's Ladder - Really fucking good, and pretty scary. Good acting by Tim Robbins.
Exterminating Angel - I dunno, I thought this was overrated. I'm not a Bunuel fan, I dunno his movies just don't "click" or whatever with me.
Peeping Tom - I saw this a loooong time ago and don't remember much except I liked it okay.
Tesis - This RULES. One of the best endings ever
Seven Samurai - Don't see it. Its overated crap. Horrible acting
M - I love this movie, you might think it's boring, since I've heard you call some older films boring, but this is a classic.
Conversation - Easily the best movie listed. Outstanding acting by Gene Hackman and John Cazale
Seventh Seal - It's great visually, not really a great movie but worth checking out for the pictures
Together - haven't seen
Dancer in the dark - This is the saddest movie ever. :(

I just returned 8 other movies.

Freaks - Great. One of my favorite movies ever now.
Straw Dogs - Same as above.
Repulsion - Was OK. I dunno. Way, way too slow, IMO. Overrated. :o
Les Diaboliques - Pretty good. Real predictable though (when watching it today), but still.
Wild Strawberries - Meh.
Discreet Charm of the Bourgeousie - Kinda disappointed. Expected it to be way better.
Rope - Only watched to see how Hitchcock did the 10 min long shots. Meh.
Man Bites Dog - Pretty hot concept. OK movie.

Man Bites Dog is a great movie but its banned in Australia so i had to watch a shitty Korean version. Still a good movie though.

K I just saw Jacob's Ladder and Together. Jacob's Ladder was good stuff and Together was amazing.

Lukas Moodysson (director of Together, Lilja 4-ever, and Show Me Love) is like my new favorite filmmaker. All three movies he has made have been amazing. It's like the movies directly cater to my taste or something. He is like the Todd Solondz of Sweden. Amazing shit.
