Hella boring game. Wtf at Hansen saying Beckham and J Cole were the best players were they blind to Rooney? Owen couldn't have scored an empty net tonight oh well.
Overall boring as hell game and a way below average performance but hey we won.
And Dazz what's with your love of the word cretin all of a sudden?
Cole was pretty anonymous till the hour mark, Beckham is as useless and overrated as he always has been. Robinson, Neville, Gerrard and Rooney were the only ones who impressed me tonight.
And Cretin, much like scopey, is a great word.

Lampard was all right tonight too Dazz didn't do much wrong.
But he didn't impress me, as he plays so much better for Chelsea, he takes more control.

It was uninspiring. Azerbayjan (sp?) Defended hard and kept the score down but they were the worst team i've ever seen going forward.
England were Ok in the back and middle. Defence had nothing to do, although Neville was always working hard going forward. Joe Cole was battling forward and putting balls in the middle for all the first half, then went flat in the second. Gerrard was quiet. Beckham did the job, good finish. Did what was needed. And Rooney never stops running and for the first time, I've started to get a sense of exitement when he is on the ball.
Alan Smith is better than Michael Owen and Jermaine Defoe and sepecially Emily Heskey. What's the matter with you Sven!?

OLE!
I went and watched the game this morning, we played crap but got the win. Should have put at least 5 past the Alvanoi yifti (Albanians). Hit the fucking crossbar twice from headers and another one from a shot outside the box! Thought we weren't gonna get any luck but thankfully CHARISTEAS put a header away (with the help of the crossbar again!) then Karagounis wrapped it up 5 minutes before the end.
Unfortunately Zagorakis picked up another yellow which means he misses the next game, the big big away match to Turkey. Ukraine won again dammit, the good thing though is that puts us 5 points clear of Turkey, the bad thing is Ukraine is still 3 points ahead of us.

Fuck we should have beaten the Turkish cunts in Athens when we had the chance. Ah well the bottom line is if we win every single game we will finish first, we need to just keep plugging away. to be fair to Michael Owen and the entire team really, they had a tough job considering they were playing against like 10 defenders and had no space. We got a fair few crosses into the box but crosses are no good to Owen, he's about 4 foot tall and being shaddowed by 3 defenders. Id have brought Heskey on, so we would've had someone able to get on the end of the crosses. That Ledley King for Rio Ferdinand substitution seemed a tad pointless to be honest.
And I agree with Dazz, Campo's invisable card thing is fucking annoying.
For the record, I watched Joe Cole's every touch and I swear he never used his left foot once.

Is it just me (I've sunk a bit of piss so I might not be seeing straight) or did James just look and act in a fucking uninterested way at his near post for the goal for the 2-2? He looked like he couldn't give a fuck. But yeah like packt up said very unjust, Charlton will be fucking delighted with that result.
Unlucky for Giannakopoulos against Liverpool (halftime 0-0), had his shot cleared off the line. Bolton have been the better side I feel and a more appropriate score at halftime would be 0-1 to them.

Yeah that looked really spazzy when Taylor just like flipped out a little bit when the ball hit his arm, but he shouldnt have ran behind Given anyway, HE should have been the one to tackle Vassell on the edge of the box, not Given
Dyer shouldn't be given as harsh a punishment as Bowyer, you can clearly see Dyer turn around because Bowyer said something to him, Dyer stands there where Bowyer marches up to him, and Bowyer was the only one who threw the punches, Dyer was just grabbing at him probably trying to get him off, I mean if someone starts punching you, you aren't going to stand there and let them.
Plus we all know what a racist cunt Bowyer is. Sack him and keep Dyer
Missing the FA cup semi won't matter anyway, it's not like we had a chance to win that game without the suspensions.

I thought the PFA insisted a few years back that the max fine could be 2 weeks wages or something like that? I mean I'm sure he won't be complaining over it since he keeps his job but if he did that fine would be cancelled am I right? 2-1 Chelsea
Seeing how Lampard scores all his goals from outside the box in the middle of the pitch, I can see why Bayern backed off and let him take a shot. Stupid cunts.

3-1 Chelsea, looking promising.
2-0 Milan, Shevchenko adding to Stam's goal earlier
Great from Chelsea and Mourinho was rumbled passing messages hope they have a fit over that it'll provide some entertainment
4-2 finished in the end for those who don't know. Cole, Lampard (2), Drogba for Chelsea and Schweinstieger and BAllack for Munich
I'd say the first was a Lucio (og).

Drogba was offside though, and in the line of the shot, so it could easily have been disallowed to be fair, i thought that has been the same in each set of offside laws tbh. The laws have been fucked about with too much though, so it gets confusing from time to time.
Chelsea game was pretty good and i don't think Bayern really would've deserved to lose by 3 goals, as wrong as the penalty was.
Newcastle's game was quite poor though, i can see them scraping through now Sporting will be without Liedson for the second leg, AZ or Villareal (probably AZ) against Newcastle would be difficult to call though.

Had the shot not deflected and the goalie parried it out, Drogba would be offside. So he's offside.
I don't give a toss really. But it still should have been offside. You get some decisions (like this one) and you miss out on others (like the soft penalty).

Yes they are, or at least they have a superb coach.
2nd in the Dutch league, above Ajax. Can't remember who they've knocked out to get so far in Europe but they've just won at Villareal, who are solid at home (beat Barcelona 3-0, drew with Real Madrid and very rarely lose) so they're pretty formidable, Newcastle shouldn't under-estimate them if they meet in the semis.

Just got back home from Brighton. We were awful, DeVries was back to his usual form, Hughes in no way deserved to be sent off and all in all, we didn't deserve our point.
Blaming the ref always sounds biased, but in the second half all a Brighton player had to do was slip on his arse to win a free kick.
The only stand out effort came from Lilian Nalis who had a great shot cleared off the line by a Brighton defender.
Several times DeVries had a chance to shoot on goal and decided to lay it off to a winger, I'M TALKING RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE BLOODY GOAL WITH ONLY THE KEEPER TO BEAT, AND HE PASSES IT WIDE INSTEAD OF SHOOTING.

Well Levein has blamed Hughes, and if he did kick the ball away twice then it's needless, but two yellow card offences nontheless.
de Vries certainly seems to be a donkey, i hope Levein doesn't have him as a favourite because 3 years of him up front and we'll only go down, unless he drastically improves.

I want them to go up obviously but the future is hard to call really. We need to go up for financial reasons but to be honest 4th bottom would be a real achievement in the Premiership what with having potentially little transfer funds. Mick has done a fantastic job getting a group of players together without spending much money an making them a decent team in a very poor division where no team has any consistency. It would be hard to see where we would get the points from to stay up, outside the obvious 6 points we'd get against Newcastle.
