Thanks to Eddy Cornelison for the following:

Well I just got back from the PPV and it was awesome. Here is some stuff that happened off camera.

- Rhyno signed autographs at a local bar before the PPV. He is a real nice guy.

- Shane McMahon was sitting near a camera. During the video hyping the HIAC match our section got a big "Shane O Mac" chant and he gave us a wave.

- When Orton fell into the crowd he landed on me and 2 other guys. I was the one with the WCW shirt and white pants. I took 2 pictures of him while he was by me.

- The crowd was really hot the whole night no matter what it sounded like on TV the crowd was into it. The arena was about 70% full. The crowd equally booed the faces as much as the heels minus Coach, La Resistance and Tomko. The fans were really behind Orton early on but once Shelton mounted all that offence fans really wanted to see Shelton pull out the win. As for the main event the fans were probably 50/50. HHH got more chants but HBK got more cheers.

- After the show the ref helped up HBK and he was given a standing ovation. He really looked and felt banged up but also had the look of relief on his face.

- In closing the show itself was very good and Orton slipping on the middle rope drew a lot of laughter.

Yea, when Orton slipped the first thing that came to my mind was how this will now be mentioned in the forum just like the Goldberg and Ultimo Dragon slip.

But you'll actually see Orton for the next six months... (barring injury)

I think his Botched RKO will haunt him much further than this.

But really, Goldberg's had a couple of botches.

The ref helped Michaels up on camera and it wasn't a standing ovation. It should have been but it wasn't.

And Rhyno was signing autographs? STOP THE PRESSES!!!

I think standing ovations should only be reserved for GOOD matches.

I think standing ovations should only be reserved for Benoit matches.
