View Full Version : Who has the lamest finisher right now?
Right now, my vote goes to John Cena. The FU is the weakest piece of crap around.
Maybe I just need to see him do it a different time or something. But the last one I saw him do was on Smackdown last week and he just stood there and dropped Dupree off his shoulder... It was weak.
Who else has garbage finishers?

Hurricane...He needs to bring back the verta-breaker.....Shinning Wisser is good though.

Yea I used to love the verta-breaker. Not the old gimmick though... THat can stay retired.
Remember the song too? VERTABREAKER! (well that's all I remember from it)

Oh, that's a great idea! Hey, Sylvain Grenier, who would you like to take an unprotected head bump? What? No? Why not!?
Eye of the Hurricane is a fine move. It's basically a reverse DDT with added force.

Is Eye of the Hurricane the same thing that Big Show used to do too?

The Vertabreaker is way too dangerous. There's no way that he should bring that move back or else there would be broken necks/spines left and right. On a once in a while basis (Wrestlemania) maybe

Im not a big fan of Benjamins new slam thing that he is doing. It just doesnt really impress me as looking powerful.
Vertibreaker had to be the coolest looking move. I wish he could bring that back. It would be alot better than what he has now.
I was never a big fan of Batista's weak Sit-Down Powerbomb finisher too... It's nowhere near Cena's FU in utter craposity though. It just seems like he should have something better since he's so damn big.

Yeah Benjamin's finisher does look pretty weak too.

I don't mind Shelton using the T-bone, it just depends on how people sell it.
Look at how people sold Tazz's T-bone in ECW, golden.

The Worm
When Kenzo Suzuki grabbed Scotty's head, I though it was gonna be that skull crusher thing, which IMO would have SUCKED... But then it turned out to be a decent finisher...
As for lamest/worst, I'd say the Worm... Almost all the others can atleast SEEM exciting and SEEM to hurt... Ooo, whoopie, you were bitch slapped across your chest, boo f*cking hoo...

I really hate Shelton's finisher, what a power slam in this day and age?

What are you talking about? He absolutely drills the guy he does it to. :wtf:

:y: Although it isn't as bad as Cena's "FU." I think he needs a more original finisher, what with Matt Hardy filling the "Ace Crusher" void.

Clothesline from hell....Its basically a typical clothesline. Men more powerful then him have nailed a clothesline and it didnt keep there opponet down...I also dont think a Famasser is to great it would be rather easy to not get your face drilled.

<font color=cyan>The Worm- I mean, it's a freakin' dance with a chop at the end!
Clothesline from hell- Kerry VonErich's punch to the head has more impact.
Eye of the Hurricane- Hurricane < "Sugar" Shane Helms.
(instert any move Lita does here)- I mean, it MIGHT be good, if she wouldn't botch it.
Gail Kim's Armbar Thingie- Okay... FALL BACK! Seriously, someone has a grip on you, just fall on them. I'm not saying it doesn't hurt, and I'm not saying it's lame. It's just even as pro wrestling goes it's a little unbelieveable.

Thumbs Down to the Dudley Dog. I also think that the F-U, as mentioned before, needs to dissapear.

The Dudley Dog is pretty alright, and the F-U 2 is coming out pretty soon, according to some rumors.

I agree with these, as well as Benjamin's powerslam and the FU. The Dudley Dog looks okay, but its not very devistating. Rey's 619 doesn't seem very effective, but looks somewhat good also. Test's Big Boot is pretty lame since guys liked Taker and Kane use it as a normal move. Same with the Superkick, used by lots of guys as a normal move.

The F-U by far, followed by the Shelton T-Bone Powerslam.
I don't count The Worm, Hogan's Leg Drop, or The People's Elbow in here, because they are pretty much "comedy" finishers.
To tell the truth, since WWE did that ridiculous (yet slightly understandable) piledriver/neck bump ban, finishing moves have S-U-C-K-E-D.
They need to reinstate it, and now.

What about F-U 2? Maybe it would be worse than the current F-U...

I intially meant this as a joke but actually, thinking it over, the RKO lacks impact.

I guess I was a little off with Batista. I just pictured him doing something more impressive than a sit-down powerbomb. I haven't seen him wrestle that much though so I must have missed all the ones where he drills the guy.
It's nowhere near all the other ones listed of course. I just would prefer he did a regular powerbomb even. Or has that been done to death already?

Trish's stratufaction. The opponent practically does the move for her by lifting her up to the ropes.

Yes... The F-U ... Cena needs to fall down with his opponent ala. DVD

I think the RKO it just lacks. It's a weak version of the diamond cutter. Now if he did it off the top rope then it might be good. Or maybe the throw them in the air and hit it like DDP did a couple of times.
Mark Henry's finisher looked pretty fucking stupied to me. Scott Stiners I did not think was cool, all he's doing is drilling some poor ass holes head into the matt and we hear JR going off his fucking nut about it
JR: BY GAWD STINER JUST DRILLED TEST'S HEAD INTO THE MATT OH MY FUCKING GAWD THAT JESSABELL !!!! YOU WOULD NEVER SEE ANYTHING LIKE THAT IN OKLAHOMEA !!! BA GAWD I'M GOING TO WHIP HIS ASS LIKE A GOVERMENT MULE !!!!!
King: Hey JR, did you just see that?
Also I hate Maven's, all he dose is a drop kick and he thinks he can get a 1 2 3 with that? Oh and if that dose'nt work maybe I'll try a high cross body for half an hour.

1. The ONLY redeeming quality about Lita is that she uses a sick DDT that's probably one of the better ones around.
2. OK, have someone lock your arm like that, then fall on top of them, and dislocate your shoulder.
As for Shelton, it's more of an Exploder-Powerslam (dubbed the "Blaxploder" by someone on the DVDR boards). It's... eh.
And Lara, how could you do that to me? :(

Great idea!
Mass Broken Necks Again!
Woo-hoo!
(Incidentally if anyone is going to start a sweep, I'll take 12 broken necks on the injured list in the sweepstake for the first year after the ban is lifted.)
:nono:
Cena's FU and the clothsline from hell.
